Constant Headache

Hello, I have suffered from Health anxiety for a long time. For the last 3 weeks I have had a constant headache. Mainly on the top of my head and forehead. Been to the doctors and they think it is stress related. Have tried paracetamol but nothing seems to touch it. Its like an ache all day long and gets worse as the day goes on. They only relief I get is when I am asleep. Had by BP check and neurological tests in the doctors and all good. The doctor has said if it does not clear up in 4 - 6 weeks then they will do a CT scan. That has got me worried and more stressed! Thanks for reading. Sharon

I had a constant headache for a week recently so I went for a neck shoulder & back massage I felt so much better & my headache subsided for a few days. I was told my neck & back & shoulders are all very tight & knotted & although the massage hurt a bit it certainly helped, could your headache be due to tension in your neck or back?

Health anxiety is the worst because even after tests you can still feel so anxious about every single pain😩

I’ve just filled an online questionnaire for Cbt & have got a telephone consultation early January I certainly need to speak to someone about my health anxiety because it’s taking over my life

I hope your headache gets better soon🤞

I have the same constant headache and I Found a supplement that helps. I use Boswellia Extract. It has worked better than any drug hands down.

You may be slightly dehydrated or not eating enough. I get the headache you are describing for those reasons. Try drinking more water during the day and not going too long without eating. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Hi Rosa2019, from someone who use to suffer daily headaches,

I do agree that dehydration can cause it to happen. :) xx

How are you?Did your headache eventually subside?

I have a dull ache on the top front left with sharp pains every few seconds. This has been nearly 2 weeks now. It's from the moment I wake up, all day. The GP diagnosed tension headache but i don't think it fits those symptoms and I am really worried :(

Thank you x
