Any ideas?

My husband has been feeling under the weather for about 4 weeks now - like you feel when your starting flu or fighting a virus - which is how he felt before he was diagnosed. He went to the Dr's last week because he feels like he might need an antibiotic to pick him up, but they couldn't find any source of infection so didn't want to prescribe.

He's also been off his food for a while, keep finding half his dinner left on his plate etc.

At the weekend he had sudden onset of left lower back/side pain. Rode it out with heat, ice, rest, baths etc to see if it would settle etc. It comes in waves, dull ache increasing to sharp pain that goes round side and down into groin. Went to A and E today and he has no red flags showing, they don't think its kidneys bit don't know what it is. My husband isnt the type to complain at pain - he's gone 3 years without even a paracetamol.

I've no idea what to think, we're just waiting to see if it either gets worse or better - but feels quite an uncomfortable situation. Just wondered if anyone has ever had similar or if it's nothing to do with liver problems 🤔

Thank you....it is quite an obscure one isn't it!! And typically after such a worrying weekend it was the broken tumble dryer that made me cry 😆 all carers out there will get that....🤝
