Sore butt, loose stools

Hi, sooooo....... about 4 years ago, I was pregnant. The loose stools started. Thought it was a pregnancy thing. However, had my daughter and it continued. I noticed taking cocodomal worked. However, if I don't take it I am on the low with water like poop about 16 times a day and end up with a very sore bum. I was worried about taking the cocodomal due to ot containing paracetamol not I don't really need. I'm not worried about the addiction side, that isn't an issue. Anyway, I went Dr's he started me on meberavine. Buuut, I have been taking it for a week, I get bad cramps in lower abdomen, poop has improved, yet I'm about 8 times a day and very very soft. This has lead to a extremely sore butt again. Don't know if I'm best just taking cocodomal as that worked! Thoughts?
