is this a sign my meds are struggling or just how it is now?
Same
pain
in my left shoulder was one of my earliest symptoms pre diagnosis. Could not move without it hurting, a lot. It was also causing neck clavicle
pain
too both sides. Could barely move Friday night and yesterday.

Anti thyroglobulin Antibody High
Since then I have an annoying
pain
in my right upper abdomen. Have had an endoscopy( am awaiting report but consultant didn't seem overly concerned) had a cystoscopy which was clear as I have an enlarged prostate but normal psa levels.

Lately he hasn’t been taking his
pain
medicine either because he’s just too tired to sit up, or he is so shaken he drops the pills. I know his prognosis isn’t looking good and I can see the looks on our nurses faces at times because he is cachexic, muscle is completely wasted.

Control endometriosis with diet?
This was only detected because I was in considerable amounts of
pain
last year and had to in emergency to the hospital At first I was dismissed and told it is 'only period
pain
' and I should be able to cope with painkillers.

how long is a long time
I have aches and a little
pain
most days. but not enough to need
pain
killers. I have never seen a rheumatologist and haven't spoken to a doctor about my steroids since diagnoses.

weaning off Fentanyl patches
I am on 25mcg Fentanyl patches for
pain
caused by a compression fracture on my T10 vertebrae due to radiation treatment for metastatic prostate cancer. I have been on painkillers for about 12 months now, beginning with morphine etc which caused intense constipation.

MV repair (OHS) – six months on – tips and thoughts……..
You will wake up in ICU very sleepy, in
pain
and probably slightly delirious along with having several cannulas from the wrists and neck, also drains from your chest and a heart monitor cable.

is everyone else not getting diagnosed or much treatment?
I’ve had severe period
pain
for years, when I wasn’t taking painkiller in time I would be sick and feel faint. I have tried paracetamol and ibuprofen in the pad which did nothing. I took naproxen 500mg which used to completely block my
pain
but now only stops it being severe.

First post! Advice on bloods please and any tips on managing fatigue
Last week I went back to the GP for more
pain
killers and was feeling really awful - they checked my blood pressure which was high (180/100) and put me some diuretics. This is beginning to make me feel better and I lost 3lbs in 5 days.

Bowel Symptoms, Post Surgery 10 weeks, started pre-chemo and continuing/evolving
I also had slight crampy pelvic
pain
before weeing while not having
pain
on weeing but that doesn't happen anymore . I did go fora No. 2 on the morning of chemo, as I took mild laxatives the night before. I have been going since, with help of said laxatives.

Xgeva Side Effects
Has anyone had extreme
pain
in hips, groin and femurs caused by Xgeva? I first started with
pain
in my right side. So bad that I literally have to lift my leg with my hands to get into the car. That was about a year ago. My doctor doesn’t seem to think there’s a problem and doesn’t address it.

My story
I simply took OTC
pain
killers only when I felt I needed them. Then after some years I needed something a little stronger and went onto Diclofenic then Naproxen. In 2022 I suffered a heart attack. And I noticed Naproxen was not good for my heart condition.
