BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo)
Anyone suffer from 'BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo)'? I suffered a car crash in 1998, with severe 'dizziness' on movement and changing position. I was told it was Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, caused by the shock! This was obviously not the case, I knew it was not physiological and definitely

MGUS
Hi just wondering if anyone else here as a diagnosis of MGUS, as been reading it can be common among people with underactive thyroid. Any information would be appreciated. Also have nerve damage but specialist doesn't think it's connected. Thanks in advance.

Urine infection treatments for AF sufferers
Hi all, last year I suffered with a urine infection and in desperation went to the chemist and bought some sodium citrate (popular remedy for symptoms for cystitis). Within literally one minute of drinking it I was in full blown AF. After spending one of the worst nights of my life with AF and terrible

Acoustic Neuroma Diagnosis
Hi everyone, I was wondering how all of you were first diagnosed with AN. I've been experiencing many odd neurological symptoms as well as severe ear problems and hypersensitivity to sound since 2012. I developed anisocoria (dilated pupil) back in 2010 and all the other symptoms have since followed.

Neuro update
I saw my Neuro yesterday for a recheck on Rx for headaches. Since starting the Propanolol I still have headaches so my Neuro is adding Nortriptyline 10mg. The Rx has been sent to mail order Rx. I start with 1 for a week and then can add another one every 2-3 days up to 5 pills if it is not working.

Seizures
Hi all Was in town shopping last Tuesday when I came around on the floor surrounded by paramedics. I had gone in a shop to buy some cards when my eyes started acting odd but thought this will clear in a min and then must have collapsed, although I don’t remember collapsing. Shop staff told paramedics

Still Have Dizziness and Tinnitus
Hi everyone, I’ve been on this forum for a year and a half. I’m still experiencing dizziness and tinnitus. Last time I had my B12 level checked, it was pretty high. Doesn’t affect my driving. No foggy thinking or depression. No balance problems. Need to get my vision checked though. Might be for other

PMR and muscle response
I'd appreciate anyone's opinion re PMR and muscle response. My Rheumatologist says that the inflammation in the muscle from PMR can damage the muscle which I felt was one justification for taking Pred. She says the restricted blood flow from the swollen vessels doesn't allow nutrition/02 to nourish the

Ear drops have brought on Tinnitus.
Hi. Had blocked ears so started Sodium bicarbonate drops but since then severe ringing (which makes watching TV difficult) has started I think in one ear. Syringing was unsuccessful yesterday so a further two weeks of the drops has been prescribed before the ringing. I don't use ear plugs but haven't

I meant to include this with the post-graduation meditation. Ice free at last, I give you the AlMorr Loop: down from here as far as you can see; hang a right and over the BirdyRose Bridge, then under the pines up to Wimborne Corner. Take a right over the bridge there. Then straight ahead up the bank

Ataxia and tinnitus.
I've always had tinnitus. But not bad (in fact it was so slight that I hardly noticed it most of the time), But ataxia has just made it worse. For the last few years it got worse as the day went on - just from tiredness really. And if I did too much it got really bad. But for the last few months, I've

Just starting out on my tinnitus journey
Hi everyone - I'm new to this whole tinnitus thing and finding it difficult to cope. It's one of the toughest things I've faced down in my 41 years on this planet. A little bit about my story: my tinnitus came on randomly about 5 weeks ago following a particularly stressful period of work. I just woke

Hearing Aids and Tinnitus
Hi All I have noticed over a period of years my hearing was not up to standard. I had earwax syringed from my ears with no problems.
