I meant to include this with the post-graduation meditation. Ice free at last, I give you the AlMorr Loop: down from here as far as you can see; hang a right and over the BirdyRose Bridge, then under the pines up to Wimborne Corner. Take a right over the bridge there. Then straight ahead up the bank to get back to the start (leaving Pickles Nursery to your left), or take a sharp left after the bridge to get onto Setters Way. I’ll have you all out here somewhere before I’m done 😂
Forgot : I meant to include this with the post... - Couch to 5K

Very much appreciated BCK, normally after I read a post or reply to or from someone I delete it to same memory and space on the phone, I just woke up at 5.15am and saw three posts from you, one wishing me a good sleep, I have had a good sleep thank you, the second post from you telling us all about your future plans including a possible 10K hill climb, the third post being this one with a lovely photo of "the AlMorr loop" at last free of ice, looks a lovely part of your running route, thanks for sending in that photo, this post I will never delete. 😊 🏃 🎓
Thanks AlMorr. Glad I was able to send it at last ! This area is being renovated into a wildlife garden, so it’ll look less bare very soon. I’ll keep you posted. Glad you slept well x
Remember to send a photo of the Oldfloss Loop which you told me was one of the most beautiful parts of your running route.
I will - I’m working round x
Hi BCK, I got your reply on the other post headed "9:3", you have set up a ladies record for replies and congratulations for graduating from C25K with 126 replies, it isn't very often that anyone gets over 100 replies, the record stands at around 130 for a man named Sallenson last year in June when he graduated, I got around 70. I don't think you remember Sallenson, he was always saying that "you should embrace your inner snail 🐌" I'll always remember him telling people that.
Thanks for letting me know about your son regarding the school he attends.
After a few days of rest and celebrations for your graduation 🎓 🏃run, the usual way to continue like I did is to run 6/30 minute consolidation runs every second or third day then try to up it to a 5k in whatever time or pace you are comfortable with. 😊 🏃 🎓
Sallenson had moved on before I arrived but several people have passed on his advice to me and now I pass it on too - it’s a very helpful metaphor, if rather slimy ! I’ve been really touched by all the different responses from people. Don’t be misled by the number of posts though - half of them are me saying thank you !
Exactly, but nevertheless even counting thanks from yourself the number of congratulations and responses to you I think is a record for a lady, you have been such a inspiration to all of us here on C25K. 😊 🏃 🎓
That’s lovely to know - thanks for telling me x
I may have mentioned to you that the little boy next door to me is Autistic, 5 years old he gets on very well with me and loves stroking the dog that his father gave him for Christmas 2017 and also likes to stroke my cat. This evening he was screaming blue murder about something in the garden, I asked his mom, 'what happened, why is Zak screaming? his mom told me that Zak had found a small incect in the garden and thought that it was going to eat him, he immediately ran back into the house screaming.
Now that is a example of what can happen to an Austic child at any time, within 3 minutes Zak had calmed down and is nice and quiet again.
Oh those meltdowns ! We know them so well ! No-one can judge the impact of anything on another person. I was generally a very quiet child, but I used to throw total screaming fits when my mum used the hoover. She thought I was just being a brat, but the pitch was absolute torture to me: I just didn’t know how to explain it !
