Toothache

Hi

I’m currently on 3 mg prednisolone for Gca and have got toothache. Can’t get appt for a few days. Tried paracetamol but need something stronger. Can I take nurofen express? Also on Accrete D3 and Omprazole. Advice would be appreciated.

If you are already taking omeprazole you should be OK taking a few odd doses of ibuprofen - I use it even without omeprazole and haven't had any problems. When the rheumy gave me a week of high dose NSAIDs for severe back pain he just said take omeprazole.

Hi Susan. I take tramadol in such cases, but you might better contact your (EMERGENCY)Dentist, a few days with pain is not fun.

Some oil of cloves. Even a whole clove wedged into where it hurts, will give relief.
