Dizziness Starting
Hi -- I've been on Rivaroxaban 20 mg, Bisopropol 2.5 mg, and Candesartin 12 mg daily for almost 9 months. I didn't notice any side effects before, but for the last couple weeks I've started having short episodes of a little mild spaciness/dizziness in my head. Could I have developed this side effect

Experiences of hearing loss due to aminoglycoside ototoxicity?
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone can offer me their experience of aminoglycoside related hearing loss? I’m most specifically interested in loss attributed to tobramycin use if there’s anyone here. Small person (now aged 11) has had over 40 courses of IVs using tobi since birth. She had a hearing aid

Vertigo and Hypothyroidism
Hi, my dad is hypothyroid and has been on 100mcg for at least 6 years. For the last 3 maybe 4 years he has been suffering with vertigo, we have been down the hospital route, MRI scan etc, but nothing seems to show up as an issue. Could his vertigo be linked to his thyroid problem. I have suggested

Tinnitus after headaches
I started having headaches after Christmas and a low ringing in my ears. Since then I've been going to rehab for my neck muscles and my headaches have got better, also have been taking Tryptizol once a day before sleeping. However the ringing has got worse, during the day I can manage, but at night is

Do I have tinnitus?
So on February 5th I noticed this ringing in my ears but I didn't think anything about it at first. Then my right ear started to hurt like 4-5 days after. I went to the doctor immediately (Feb 12) and she told me that I had Otitis externa and Cerumen obturnas in my ears (whatever that meant). My ears

Vagus Nerve Stimulation
Hi, I have had single sided tinnitus now for about 9 months. I have had the MRI stuff and with no abnormalities have been left to just get on with the kettle boiling sound in one ear. I have done the normal rounds of cranial sacral, meditation, yoga all, I am afraid, to no effect. Then I found this:

Migraines and Prolactinomas (micro)
I have a prolactinoma and also migraines. I have been told that nausea meds can make the prolactinoma grow. What do you take for vomiting and nausea?

Feel plugged despite hearing test fine
Anyone else feel like their ear is plugged ?? I had a hearing test and the results were pretty much all in normal range BUT i still feel like there's a little something stopping me from getting the clarity to the sound i have previously been used to. I'm confused about this as how did my hearing test

Not health related - but if anyone is having trouble getting council funding for elderly relative care, feel free to contact me.
It’s taken me 13 months to get funding for my 97 year old mother. The council wanted to move her to a cheaper home with inferior care and ponging of ransid urine. I’ve been bullied, accused of salting away and spending my mother’s money for my own purposes ( intentional deprivation of capital, not true

Sleep Paralysis?
Evening all! Quick question, does anyone else experience sleep paralysis? I remember one occasion in my teens but it’s frequent now. I’m lucky in that I get it when I’m falling asleep rather than when waking up which I believe is way more terrifying! It’s also not frightening, but I get stuck between

Slight layer earwax - is this a problem?
Hi - first time posting here.... the last T spike (almost 3 weeks ago) resulted in me feeling like i can't quite hear properly in my affected ear (I am totally deaf on one side so only have one useful ear). I had a hearing test after 14 days and although my T has resettled and the hearing test showed

Strange/hopeful realization
I am new to this forum, I’m 19 and my tinnitus started about two months ago, not sure why. It is in both ears, one consistent hum and one ‘ringing bell’ like sound. There are possibly more, I have been obsessively avoiding listening to them. Luckily so far I can’t hear them over the sound of the tv or
