Side effects of Azithromycin
I see that quite a few of folks here take Azithromycin particularly in the winter months. I have severe COPD and brittle asthma and for the past couple of years it has been suggested that I take Azithromycin during the winter months to avoid exacerbations. I've put off taking it but after so many hospital

My badđ
I'm seeing no up side to this whole neck surgery thing. So far I had to quit smoking. Me! And I'm still NOT HAPPY about it! I had the surgery, and and it hurts! New pain is NOT OK! I can deal with old pain, but new pain on top of old pain? No! Just no! So I called the Drs and said I need meds. Morning

Ear and jaw discomfort
Anybody experiencing jaw pain under the ear. Every afternoon it feels like my right ear begins to fill up and the jaw under is sore and sometimes painful. Doc says this is definitely one of the endless symptoms we endure with hypothyroidism but I was just wondering if anybody here had noticed it.

Phage therapy for Pseudomonas colonisation in lungs associated with Bronchiectasis
Hi all, does anyone have experience of phage therapy to treat Pseudomonas colonisation in lungs? I know this is offered in Georgia and I am thinking about this as antibiotics are proving to be of limited value. I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you

Attention all sufferers of tinnitus and inner ear problems
Hi I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of printable information relating to underactive thyroid and ear problems? I have a meeting with ENT next Wednesday and I imagine they wonât know about the connection. My GP didnât seem to. I am desperate to get to the bottom of the cause

Tinnitus and work
Hi all, Long story short, I left my last job in teaching 2 years ago amid a huge amount of professional and personal stress. My T started then, and is currently at its worst. A high pitch ringing in both ears - the right more than left. Also slight hearing loss in both. Iâve done small amounts of private

Abdominal swelling following bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy
Hi, I had bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy 8 days ago and feel like the swelling on my stomach has gotten worse as the days go on. Can anyone tell me if this is normal and if so how long till it goes down? I donât have much pain now and feel stronger everyday, the only thing bothering me is this swelling

What do you do for holiday prep
What do you do to manage RA whilst abroad. We love to travel but I have not travelled once since diagnosis when I haven't been Ill. Various illnesses things like catching bugs, tonsillitis, ear infections etc...fatigue also gets much worse. I dont want to give up that part of my life so does anyone

First week with tinnitus
My first post so thought I'd just write! Just started experiencing ringing in my ears 4 days ago. Saw a doctor and I'm getting my ears cleared. I'm a tad worried though, it's not easy to get used to! There are some sounds on YouTube I've listened to that sound similar to the ringing that stop it for
