Vertigo
Hi all - First post for me I think. Has anyone here suffered a bout of vertigo. Last week I sat up in bed and immediately fell back with a dizzy spell. That spell has stayed with me for 7 days now. Have to hold on to walls and furniture walking. Doc said it was benign vertigo (migratory ear crystals)

Baffled
I have been feeling deaf in my left ear for years,to me it didn’t feel like true deafness as sometimes when I turned my head it totally cleared until I moved my head again.I also felt my head was full of cotton wool.I asked different GPs for years & they just looked in my ears & said they could see nothing.Eventually

BPPV advice
I have Graves disease (under control) but don't think BPPV is hopefully linked, I am looking from advice from the community on after effects of BPPV. I only had one episode, after turning to my right suddenly in bed one morning but it took a few hours to settle (staying on my left side) before I turn

Hi everyone! I may have developed tinnitus due to an ear infection earlier this week. It's only been a few days and the doctor tells me it may be temporary. Still, I am very glad to have found this forum and other resources that are available online. Thank you all for your contributions/feedback!

Low Ferritin Symptoms
I have been going to my doctors for years complaining of weakness, pains in limbs, tinnitus. They did a ferritin test a few years ago and result was 50, down from 75 a few years before that. I was told everything is fine, nothing to worry about. Every time I go they only look at one symptom per appointment

Tinnitus
Hi, I am 5 months post ablation and still having regular ectopics but I know this can continue. I shared previously of intermittent blurred vision but now also have terrible tinnitus both seemed linked to the palpitations and all symptoms are worse after eating . Has anyone had anything similar? Thanks

Promising developments or a blip?
I have had Anosmia since before I was diagnosed with lupus. A while back I saw a forum discussion saying lupies with anosmia should have further investigations to rule out CNS involvements etc. With me also suffering sudden hearing loss 9 years ago, I decided to ask for an ENT appointment. That was yesterday

Hi. After a hospital appointment today where I had all the usual hearing tests I was referred for an MRI which came as a bit of a shock but he can’t see anything so thinks it may be more to do with nerves. Amitryptyline
Hi everyone, not posted on here before but read all posts. I have been prescribed amitryptyline for pain relief as I have problems with my lower back. It is 10mg liquid, has anyone had any experience of this drug. It is used for depression in higher dose but is said to be good for blocking nerve pain
