Osteopathy

I’ve started having Osteopathy treatments at the UCL clinic, treatments are performed by last year students under the supervision of their teachers. I’ve been treating shoulder/neck, lower back pain and foot.

I am finding two types of endocrinologists… one is an MD and one is a doctor of osteopathy. Anyone have experience with these two different types of endocrinologists?

I just wondered if anyone had input or experience in having their CLL treated by an internist is osteopathy and general medicine, with some experience in hematology and oncology.

I have made an appointment to see a local Cranial Osteopath. I have abdominal pain ( & gas) from a series of extremely stressful events. In the past,I found it to be so transformative in terms of deep relaxation, although I was attending for backache, that I would fall asleep on the examination couch

Had anyone tried acupuncture or osteopathy or other types of therapies for their stress and pain? thank you for your time

I see my Dr of Osteopathy once a month to maintain better alignment. I get bodywork and acupuncture. After a fall 2 years ago, I have been in a PT program to strength my legs and arms. While I made some gains, I felt that balancing on one foot was not working for me.

Having osteopathy and Accupuncture which is helping a bit, but no discernible improvement. Have had amytriptiline in the past which has helped, but now on Bisoprolol for a fast heart rate so I think this may be contraindicated now. Has anyone any thoughts before I try and get a GP appointment?

I'm terrified as I also have a health phobia .Has anyone else had similar and also is acupuncture or cranial osteopathy good for this.Thank you to anyone who replies

So I went to another Kaiser location and chose a neurologist /not sleep medicine a DO(Doctor of Osteopathy) this time. I changed my primary to a DO as well. Both are amazing. The new Doctor, knew all the latest research out of Mayo clinic, I was totally impressed.

Hi everyone, I've got terrible lower back/pelvic pain and wondered if anyone had experience of going to an osteopath for endometriosis? Esp in London. Did it help? Did they have a particular understanding of endo? Thanks v much.

I have had endless Osteopathy, dry needling and deep tissue massages. All of which help but dont fix it. I am a qualified yoga instructor and do certain things to help ease the pain but my yoga practice has changed dramatically over the past few years. Has anyone else experienced this?

Trying everything - formula, breastfeeding, tongue tie, cranial osteopathy.... So exhausted and emotional now after so many weeks working so hard.... I know others might be also going through this.

I had cranial osteopathy on my head about a week after the accident. That got rid of the dizzy/unstable feeling I had but didn't help with any of the other symptoms. 4. I started doing meditation for the first time on a daily basis after being recommended it and found it to be invaluable.

I was wondering if anyone with lupus or anyone who suffers for joint pain ever tried osteopathy and did it help? And if you tried any other methods? I already do stretching, yoga and light exercise. I want to see what else I can do! Thanks!

Hi all I’m currently on a treatment break whilst I spend some time working with a couple of holistic therapists - mainly acupuncture & osteopathy - in an attempt to naturally bring down inflammation in my body as well as get my microbiomes (both gut & vaginal) into as healthy a place as possible.

I had suggested cranial osteopathy. Does anyone with a MSA diagnosis have any experience of this complementary medicine for depression? Many thanks in advance - I’m new to this and I really am asking for a friend!
