Cranial Osteopathy to relax nervous system

I have made an appointment to see a local Cranial Osteopath. I have abdominal pain ( & gas) from a series of extremely stressful events. In the past,I found it to be so transformative in terms of deep relaxation, although I was attending for backache, that I would fall asleep on the examination couch. " It taps into the parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for digestion, repair & healing.

Basically do whatever works for you is a definite, so in your case I’m not sure why you might question something that works for you?

Thank you. My intention, rather, was to share the information that Cranial Osteopathy really helps on a deep level with the parasympathetic nervous system & the vagus nerve plays a key role in digestion. So it might help others to explore that avenue of 'well being'
