Still petrified.
Thankyou so very much for the lovely replies. As expected, scan showed increase in size of nodes, so more chemo in 3weeks time. I did notice that the staff on day unit are only wearing masks, no shields, which i was surprised to see, when i was having port flush yesterday. Now i have another dilemma

RLS TREATMENT: Every day I read questions and answers on this forum and I would like to share with you some of my concerns
about the replies given to the many RLS sufferers who are struggling with their medication. All medications, if you read the leaflets, have side-effects and complications and at the end of the day, we have to weigh up which ones are going to be effective for each of us individually. 1.Dopamine Agonists

Taking two 30mg co-codamol pills permanently
I have chronic back pain, probably because of my long computer working hours. Long story short, I started to take co-codamol (30mg codeine + 500 mg paracetamol). I love it, not only does the pain disappear, but my miserable, painful, depressed, and tired day becomes the happiest day of my life, I feel

Still have to completely avoid triggers while on opioids?
So, with the possibility of a hospital admittance being in my future, I’m sure they’ll want to get me on medications for my stomach that will not agree with my legs. They’ll also probably have me eating a BRAT diet. I’m scared. Last night I woke up a bunch of times and I was restless and had nothing

My dental experience
Thank you to all the replies I had about needing dental treatment. Well this morning I was very anxious shaking and generally not in a good place. But I can now say how wonderful my dentist made me feel. The room I went into had a do not enter sign on as it had been cleaned. I had to have an extraction

Needing dental treatment
I need dental treatment and I’m very nervous about going. The close proximity of someone looking in my mouth really makes me quite anxious. I have PMR & GCA. I’m currently in 9 mgs of pred. I really would appreciate some feedback on your thoughts.

Post 714 It is not as bad as they say 30 Nov 2020
Good Morning my beloved Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms) family. As always I hope last night was restful and that today is full of contentment. It may hurt at times but that means “YOU” are alive. Take the good with the bad, make your own good and make it very good. New to the family I am so

Codeine
I'm interested to hear of people's experience with codeine. Has it worked for you? How much do you take? I realise there are superior opioids out there for RLS but I'm unable to tolerate them. I've taken paracetamol/codeine preparations (panadeine forte) in the past for headaches etc and have had no

Rock and a Hard Place
After 45 years of various RLS drugs and a little over a year of taking 3 different opioids, I have developed breathing issues--"respiratory depression"--one of the side effects listed. I simply stop breathing multiple times during the night--oxygen "desaturation events." I don't know if that is related

Can opioids replace pramaprixole?
I have finally gotten some sleep using dilaudid and taking them has also helped me reduce the amount of pramaprixole from .75 to .50 and now to .37.5. I started with a dose of 2mg of dilaudid which worked well for about a month and then was not effective. I increased the dose to 4mg and so far it

Dental treatment
I am due to have 2 fillings next week but the prospect of having to lie almost flat is worrying me. This is because I feel dizzy when lying flat or turning over in bed. I thought it was because of my AF or BP. However, I read that it could be caused by an inner ear condition . I am OK when standing,

Dental Treatment on Venetoclax
I had a dental check up this morning as a back molar has crumbled - dentist will be able to do a filling. He also advised a scale and polish which I am more wary of as this can damage the gums leading to infection. He is fully aware of my CLL and medication and says he will be very gentle when near my

Meds
I am considering coming off medication and was wondering if anyone has done this? I’m not sure if I am allowed to mention what I take but it contains 2 opioids, one a patch and the other is oral. I take them for chronic back pain but I have other meds for Fibromyalgia which I think I will continue

Kratom/Neupro
Thanks to all!! I’ve had RLS FOREVER and I’m now 79 and it’s so acute I don’t know where to turn. Kratom is somewhat helpful but not terrific. I also have a neupro patch but experiencing bad compulsive behavior asa side effect. Does neupro have to be withdrawn gradually? How? Can it be overlapped
