Concerned about Dental Treatment - WPW Syndrome
Hi all, I hope everyone is safe and well during the current situation. I'm wondering if anyone can offer me some advice on how dental treatment is performed (At least for them) for those of us who have arrythmia's (Particularly anyone else who has wolf-parkinsson white syndrome) I have unfortunately

Dental treatment
Is anyone else suffering from a rotten tooth while halfway through chemo? I would welcome any advice. I am surviving at the moment, trying to stay on Paracetamol with Ibuprofen and codeine for when necessary. The dentist says I must have swelling and a temperature before they will consider seeing me.

Living & dying in my room from anxiety and depression.
I feel like that’s my future assuming I can hang onto my sanity. I have Lupus & am on Cymbalta, Xanax, & 2 opioids. I have had these problems since I was 17. So it’s not caused by the meds. I recently went off Zoloft with no noticeable change. I’m 59 now & don’t see any kind of future. The big questions

Post 636 Know what "YOU" are taking 23 Apr 2020 2
The last time I checked everybody on this site has some form of ms. So this should be obvious to everybody. With ms, we take all sorts of medicines at different dosages and at different times. Make a list of your medicines. When “YOU” take them, how many and at what dosage, and most importantly

Other causes of RLS
Ive had debilitating RLS for a long time, but l also have restless"body". Im diabetic which caused diabetic neuropathy, retinopathy and more complications. Neuropathy is nerve damage, which has caused my RLS. I mentioned retinopathy because l was reading a post on dry eyes, which in my case is a result

Doubling Flare after 7 days of Casodex and 1 day of Zolodex
Questions: My husband diagnosed Stage IV 13 years ago. He's not been on Casodex or Zolodex since 2014. We hadn't taken a PSA for about 6 weeks. His psa went from 55 to 64 in that time. It was the alk phos that scared us, it shot up to 740, I honestly can't remember the number.. it was at another blood

EMAIL from Professor Richard P Allen John Hopkins
Dear Mrs Howard I was sad hearing about your travails getting treatment for RLS. Yes buprenorphine is one of the opioids used for refractory RLS with reasonably good results. It tends to get used after methadone is tried, but it is very effective in many patients. We have long term experience

Dental treatment
I was just about to have a crown put on a molar when the dental surgeries closed because of coronavirus. I spoke by phone to the dentist who said that the temporary crown “should be alright”, but was not very convincing. Does anyone know how long a temporary crown is viable (this crisis could go on

Buprenophine success!
I am so grateful to Shumbah for posting and sharing her experience and success with Buprenorphine. I was able to get it prescribed from a neurologist here in Japan yesterday (0.2 grams as a suppository) and I tried it for the first time ( 1 x 0.2 mg suppository) last night. I slept for almost 10 hours

Shaking?
Does anyone else get shaking hands with pred? I have noticed a few times but very specifically when I was trying to reach for water to rinse at the dentist and when I was signing off for my treatment at dentist also. I’m wondering if it’s anything to do with the adrenaline boost because of dental treatment

Difference between gabapentin and pregabalin?
My first and only experience with gabapentin resulted in such dizziness when I got out of bed in the morning that I had to lean against walls and furniture in order not to fall over. I need my brain for work but was quite incapacitated that day, and never took another dose. I am reading about pregabalin

Overhead my onco being reprimanded last week. I am sure it was about me. Very long, venting. Feel free NOT to read.
I was finally referred to a palliative team which also consisted of a pain specialist for my severe back pain which makes it almost impossible to walk a full block without crying and having to stop and lean against something. I do not drive so I have no choice but to walk. It go so bad that I basically

Help, received general letter from GP re opioid prescribing & chronic spine pain
Hi, trying to keep this short, does anyone know the max dose of opioids that are beneficial in chronic pain please? My GP practice have sent a letter saying 120 mg per day of morphine or equivalent is the correct dose, no idea where they’re getting this information. They also have decided to reduce

Has anyone dealt with a broken bone from a lesion?
My husband broke his arm yesterday. He had been having pain for several weeks. I finally bullied him into telling the doctor and she had him do a full set of x-rays, which showed the lesion but no fracture. Less than 3 hours later, he was at the store, picked up a bag containing two small tomatoes,

Where do I go from here ?
Hi guys, back here posting after quite some time. So I had been doing reasonably well on the 0.125mg dose of Pramipex until early Nov when I started feeling signs of augmentation as my Rls began earlier in the afternoon at times. Since I already knew what it was, I decided to cut down the dosage and
