Rubbish -Leave liothyronine alone, Julie Woods and Simon Stevens should resign
Julie Woods chief Exec NHSCC and Simon Stevens should resign on this statement alone. How dare they suggest there are more cost effective products available than liothyronine. Unless they are referring to T4 of course, which is absolutele pug wash. This article just goes to show their lack of knowledge

The 6 Dietary Tips Patients Need to Hear From Their Clinicians - The research is out: diet matters. Here's what patients need to know.
[Poster's comment:- This is the latest advice being issued to USA professionals for dissemination to their patients. Whilst it is generalized, with an anti-obesity slant, there is nothing contradictory to the perspective of OPA members; apart from adjustments for meal size and timing (and possibly supplementation

Getting started on Gluten-Free (GF)
Hi Recently diagnosed with Coeliac's disease I am now on a GF diet; at least probably. I'm looking for confirmation that my medication Actavis (now, think it was something else before) Levothyroxine and Atorvastatin is GF. Can anyone help please? Also, can I go further and ask if anyone has any gluten

High Omega 3 Intake
I have had post concussion syndrome for 15 months and heard about the Omega 3 Protocol yesterday. I'm not normally one for alternative treatments but I'm getting fed up of the chronic fatigue and pain. Omega 3 capsules are cheap so I figure it's worth a go. My worry though is that for the first week

Ground Flaxseed, Flaxsee Oil & Flaxseed Oil.
This is a follow-on from my Fred Kummerow post - in response to some questions. Flaxseed contains two elements that might affect PCa progression: lignans that might impede it & alpha-linolenic acid [ALA] that might accelerate it. A tablespoon of flaxseed oil contails a lot of ALA with little or none
