Antioxidants and gastric stress
Hi all. I posted about neuropathy a while back. I’ve done lots of research and it seems that for the most part this is down to some inability to absorb B12 although it’s common for diabetics and alcoholics. It’s pretty painful and naturally I have been trying to find a solution that avoids drugs like

An Ickle Surprise...
Hi everyone, Like many of you, I have suffered this RLS curse for getting on for 30 years of which the last 20 years have been tough. Watery smiles and sympathetic shrugs from doctors didn't lead me anywhere and I was stuck with my best "fix" of paddling in cold water two or three times a night to buy

Does topical retinoic acid effect the thyroid??
I believe that 25 years of daily topical Retin a has had an effect on my ability to convert t4 to active t3 based on my blood work. I do not have an autoimmune disorder. Wondering if it has something to do with retinol binding receptors and thyroid receptors?? Any ideas!????

Of course the answer to this can only be made by the individual, however other people's experiences and ideas can be very helpful in decision making.. Tranexamic acid
Literally just starting taking these tablets today, took my first two. I don’t know how to describe it but I feel weird. My head is strange and I feel a bit nauseous. I don’t know if this is normal or if I’m over worrying and creating problems - I got concerned when online it said don’t take whilst

How did humans get to the top of the pile?
Thank you everyone who commented on my post around why people chose a low-carb high fat diet, and did they do so after a high-carb low-fat diet. Personally I could debate on just that thread for the next 10 years, and perhaps I will! However it occurs to me a hypothesis following on from that question

Really need advice please
After years of pain/heaving bleeding, no results from internal scans and smears the doctors are referring me to a gynaecologist with suspected endometriosis. Until I get the letter of referral in the post the doctor has prescribed me tranexamic acid and advised me to look into the IUD or contraceptive
