Painkillers during IVF - urgent help needed

Help! I am doing IVF and am currently down regulating with buserelin. I have mild endometriosis and adenomyosis. My period just started and as usual it is agony but the IVF clinic told me I could not take Mefenamic Acid like I usually do, only paracetamol. I am in so much pain. Does anyone know if I can take co-dydramol without it affecting the IVF?

Panic over. I found a document in my IVF paperwork saying I can take codeine, had some co-codamol from my recent laparoscopy so I took that and it was effective. So relieved!

Glad you found some relief. Good luck with the IVF ( I had it with my first child) & also did acupuncture too (because I obviously like sticking needles in myself! - not!) but I found helpful with some of the side effects. Wishing all the best.
