I’ve not been well for months but as us women do we keep going, however the last 4/5 wks I’ve been floored literally can’t do anything at speed all l want to do is just sleep. I think my GP is fed up with me but she is also pushing to get me seen by endometriosis specialist/gynaecologist. In between my sleeps💤 I’ve started to research the tablets lm on and have found some interesting information out.

💊These are what lm taking at the minute

Mefenamic Acid, Oral Capsule 500mg 3 times a day apparently should only take for a short while

Omeprazole 20mg 1 a day to help with above as they can cause stomach to bleed

Elleste solo 2mg HRT 1 a day almost a year l’ve had these, if had or have endo shouldn’t take.

I’ve always trusted the doctors & specialist as that’s there job, l feel I’ve been very naive, not asked enough questions etc.

Even taking the above l feel awful, sick, bloated, cold chills, irritable & really fed up! 🥵😰 and lm still having to justify the way l feel, please just give me a break! Sorry to waffle again ladies x

Hi, the mefenamic acid is a painkiller like ibuprofen but it targets the specific area. It’s to be taken during a period only, this obviously doesn’t help if like me you bleed for weeks if not months. The other 2 I’ve not heard of. I used to have transenamic acid but it’s to be taken for 3-4days Max to steady the flow. Found out further down the line it can cause strokes 😳

I find the drs will prescribe without checking contraindications unless you ask, I think it’s because there is so much out there now. Also I used to be scared to ask the questions but it’s our right so badger them xx
