Recently diagnosed with anterior prolapse and prescribed oestrogen cream and pelvic floor exercises Had scans and they're OK, seeing gp soon to discuss... She mentioned pessary ring but from what I've read, there are negatives!

I play /played quite competitive badminton and sailed a dinghy most weeks, neither of which I have done since and miss very much.

Wondered if anyone had advice or exp erience of pessary rings positively? Or return to exercise?

Thanks

Pessaries certainly help some people, but you will always need to do pelvic floor exercises ........the exercises need to be done daily forever and will really help. Give pessaries a chance

I have had a pessary ring for 10 years, it was a game changer. I use oestrogen cream twice a week, have it removed and checked every 6 months, can't feel it at all.

Thank you. Have you been able to play sports, I played competitive badminton.... But can't now. I was hoping I would be able to play again.
