oestrogen test via gp?

hi all,

has anyone else had experience getting your oestrogen or any other fertility blood markers tested via your gp? I just asked mine about this and she said ‘we don’t do that’ same for testing vaginal PH. Said I would have to get it done privately for bloods and would have to buy a kit for vaginal PH. Just seems weird to me that a GP can’t/wont do this….

Are you trying to get pregnant and have been doing so for the last year if under 40? As they will refer you on for IVF if you and your partner don't have any children.

GPs don't tend to do specialist tests.
