Hi All. New member here.
I found this site after being utterly fed up and frustrated. A little back story first: I'm 53, male and I live in England. About a decade ago I noticed after a gig I attended as a punter that the usual "ringing in the ears" was taking longer than usual to go away, then after a few more weeks realised

Pseudomonas colonised.
Morning all, l have been on nebulised Colomycin since last August. Although it has kept infections at bay, l am more breathless than l used to be and energy levels are very low. I have told that l will be on this medication for a long time as my lungs are very badly damaged. I cannot walk any length

Promethazine sleeping tablets following insomnia and increased episodes amnesia
So my T journey continues. I would say insomnia has been the biggest problem through out but I thought I'd learned to live with it. However, it certainly seems it may be catching up with me (I posted about this last month ago - but I'll recap briefly). I had what appeared to be an isolated episode

For patients with GCA vasculitis
Dear fellow vascies, can I ask you to complete this very short survey?
I know that PMR causes fatigue as well, but please only do the survey if you are diagnosed with GCA.
The aim of this project is to explore and discover how individuals with vasculitis, manage with fatigue in everyday life

Dry mouth
Thank you all for the sugg for coping with dry mouth and throat. Lots to choose from. I will try the sugar free chewing gum and Boots throat spray. I also have dry eyes and use a gel prescribed from the GP. I will ask to be checked for diabeties. All your help is much appreciated.

Rainbows in the morning
Hello all, I have my next appointment with the consultant at the hospital on the 28th November. I have been on various eye drops, tablets since my iridotomy… 1st one in November 2022 and then an enlargement in March due the original holes sealing over. Since then my pressure has been on the high side

Hi, first time poster. My son started school in September (Reception) and wasn’t potty trained at that point - we had tried numerous time - absolutely not interested. We cracked the potty training in the October half term and he went back to school in pants - there was the occasional wee accident

Berberine and Levothyroxine
Hi This is my first post. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice about taking berberine with levothyroxine. I am currently taking 100mcg of levo daily. About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes which I try and control with a low carb diet. However my blood sugar seems to be rising

walking around for three hours
my urogynaecologist has put me on 10 mg amitriptyline every night. I started it yesterday. I was staggering around for three hours. My left leg and foot were jumping with rls. I am also on 900 mg of gabapenguin and 20 mg of fluoxetine. I believe the fluoxetine and amitriptyline are making my rls much

Bolt's Failed Pickle Experiment (Lectins) :(
First off, for those who don't know me, I have NOT been diagnosed with PD
. I was diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder back in April 21, which the experts say will lead to PD or something worse. When I was diagnosed I did have some other odd symptoms. Mild balance issues, Seborrheic dermatitis

PALB2 genetic defect-Lynparza
I have PALB2 genetic defect. Just completed six cycles of Taxotere as part of triple therapy (chemo, Nubeqa and ADT) for about 20 Mets (PSMA scan) mostly skeletal (no organs). Only four Mets still lit up on PSMA scan after four cycles of chemo/Lupron/Nubeqa. Next PSMA scan in Jan. 2024. Oncologist recommends
