Cold & sore throat PAF
hi, I’ve had a cold and cough for 7 days now and having been having AF episodes lasting from 30mins - 5hours almost daily. Normally I would get an episode once a month at worst. Can colds and coughs bring on more regular occurances of AF?

my day took a dive.
My brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His surgery early this morning revealed the cancer had spread undetected. They ended the procedure and sent him home giving him 6 months to live. Life seems random and impersonal. My son’s dog Roxie understands.

Is this lupus?
Hi, I'm just into my sixties and have developed symptoms that are tempting to pigeonhole "getting older" or menopause, but I don't think that they are. I do know though that the flare ups became much worse following a viral infection Feb 2020 (maybe covid?). I also reacted dramatically to the astra

Shocking story about women dying of CRF/ME
Did anyone read about the women who died from CFS/ME? https://news.sky.com/story/woman-with-me-died-after-begging-gp-for-help-inquest-told-13183530 Why didn't anyone try B12 and see if it could help her? If you look online there is masses of information about how B12 can help CFS/ME. For example

Advice after possible Covid
Hi all, I've been horribly ill with what is probably Covid (no positive LFT test but typical weird breathlessness, fluid lungs, fatigue, dizziness and all the rest). However, three weeks later and a course of antibiotics, and I'm still feeling rotten - massive fatigue, pains everywhere, dizziness

Hi everyone, After a 5 month wait, I finally have my first (telephone) gynaecologist appointment tomorrow since 2019 for suspected endometriosis. I have never had any surgery or anything to properly prove this yet. I have had 3 ultrasounds this year between February and June, which showed one of my

overlapping symptoms
hi all I’ve finally seen a rheumatologist and he wasn’t able to give me a diagnosis as he says I don’t present the classic symptoms for any one particular autoimmune disease but I have overlapping symptoms of more than one condition. The hair loss and rash seem to be puzzling them too. I’ve been prescribed

Covid question
I’ve avoided Covid up until now. My partner and I picked it up in Cuba. Started with what we thought was food poisoning, the dreaded diarrhea. It’s now been 14 days. We’ve had chills, fevers, fatigue and daily diarrhea. I’m at the final three months of V treatment so was advised to start the antiviral

Hi all I'm newbie. Anyone here have lung damage due to Amiodarone treatment?
Rather than going into too much detail I will keep it brief. Was prescribed Amiodarone for AFib and took it for a total of four months six days. After being on it for 3 months I started coughing mostly while asleep. Also started to get really bad pain in left lung lobe that was much worse if I lay on

Flu won’t go away.
I was diagnosed four years ago with emphysema. I have had no symptoms. Six weeks ago I got the flu. It’s been a rough six weeks. Getting my breath back and my energy back. Now every morning I can’t breathe and have to use an inhaler. Never had to before. I’ve had a CAT scan of my lungs, and it has not
