my day took a dive.

My brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His surgery early this morning revealed the cancer had spread undetected. They ended the procedure and sent him home giving him 6 months to live.

Life seems random and impersonal. My son’s dog Roxie understands.

Gobbsofjoy, my heart goes out to your brother. Never, never lose hope, stay in the ring ! If we go down, we go down fighting.

the five stages of dying and grieving .

Link to professional advise :

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK5...

things may happen faster than predicted, There is a need to remember that each day might be worse and this may be the best opportunity to do what he wants, dont wait for a better day. get a wheelchair now etc. Visit him as much as possible and listen to what he wants .

Sorry to hear that. I pray your hearts be comforted

I hope he's not in pain. If he can't avoid death, at least he should pass peacefully

I am sorry to hear the sad news about your brother. Here we are feeling a bit sorry for ourselves and this is a stark reminder to make the most of what we have - life.

Would your brother be willing to try metabolic therapy? There's a lot of success with many types of cancers. Breathwork like Wim Hof and Pranayam could provide additional support. There's no downside anyways...

Sorry for your likely loss. Although it's somewhat unlikely to make a difference personally I would be chugging all the usual supplements:

Such as melatonin here:

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/302...

And curcumin:

jgo.amegroups.org/article/v...

And high doses of Vitamin B1:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

I am sure there may be others.

The point everyone misses isn’t Right-to-try. The point is: Alive-to-try. You’ve got the diagnosis. Now try-to-right the prognosis. Keep swinging for the fences and God bless.
