I managed to get covid a month after Rituxumab infusions, got free lateral flow test from independent pharmacy (boots and Tesco were hopeless and not signed up to the scheme) all the pharmacist needed was sight of a clinical letter confirming diagnosis. After testing positive I called 111 and an anti viral unit doctor called me back 3 hours later. He was extremely thorough checking all aspects of my medical situation and all meds whether for GPA or anything else. He did need details of a fair few blood results and as I was outside my doctor and hospital area I had to supply these. Thank goodness for patients know best as I had all the blood results and dates taken on the app. He then arranged the anti virals at a local chemist (not all pharmacies dispense them). Within hours I was feeling better. I know these drugs are very new so long term effects unknown but they have stooped the symptoms stone dead.

That’s great, I’m so glad the anti virals have helped so much.

I found the same earlier this year, I’d dreaded getting Covid but once I started the treatment my symptoms were so mild.

Hope you make a full recovery very soon!

The anti virals are amazing and work so fast, glad you had the same result, there has to be some upsides to vasculitis ✔️

I just called 111 and told them my situation. For my blood results my hospital uses a system called Patients know best where all test results are listed with date of test and results and patients see the results real time along with the consultants, not all hospitals use it but Imperial hospitals in London do. Hope this helps.
