Nerve damage

Since my carpal tunnel, cubitunnel and median nerve surgery 2 years ago, I have experienced horrible, constant seeking nerve pain in my left arm. My hand is deformed and I have no use of my arm and hand. After 2 hand surgeons, 2 PT's and a neurologist, all of whom said there was nothing they could do, my onc referred me to pain management. They will be doing a nerve block. Hopefully it will work. Maybe pain management might be helpful for you. I have found that the neuropathy thing confounds doctors. I also will be starting Trugap soon after 6 years on Ibrance. Oh the fun never stops. Also have hip pain. Onc thinks it's cancer. Will have a pet scan. My onc had perscribed oxycodone but didn't help pain. Just messed up my stomach. Hip pain was so bad went to er. Doctor gave me a morphine shot. Took the pain away but I was so high I couldn't function. Scary when you can't take opioid for pain so I don't know what will happen.

Also received 2 weeks of radiation for spot on my side in April. Still have no energy. Exhausted just taking a shower. Very weak. Any advice on recovering from radiation?

Thanks for listening to my saga. Any advice would be appreciated. Losing so much weight .Too much pain to wanna eat.

my goodness that’s a lot to take in, for someone. Sorry you are in so much pain. I know the feeling very well, as you know. Oxy, morphine or fentanyl did nothing for my pain, for my fractured vertebrae. Not sure why when we have cancer we have to endure all this pain, as if the cancer by itself isn’t enough for our bodies to cope with. Best to you with the pain management, as I had no luck. Not trying to be negative. Hugs!

Sorry you have had the same experience! Hugs and prayers to you. Thank you for responding. Let's just hope things improve and maybe they develop different pain meds. Wouldn't that be nice! Take care

I am so sorry to hear that you are having so much pain. Hopefully they can find something that you can handle to relieve this. It takes me a bit to get over radiation treatments. I know the feeling of not wanting to eat. It is hard to make yourself eat . I find it doesn’t take much to make me tired. Hope they will be able to help you to feel better💕 Theresa
