lidocaine infusion?
Most recently a
nerve
block
which went wrong and left me in worse pain. My last option is a lidocaine infusion which I am waiting for. I take Pregablin/codeine/migraine meds etc If anyone has any info/suggestions/advice I would be very grateful.

My Right Shoulder Repair
The anaesthetist came and told me about the
nerve
block
, then the surgeon arrived and explained what he was doing. A repir, trimming and burring the spur. All through 3 holes at the top of my shoulder. On time at 1.30pm. Awoke and had sandwiches @ 4pm.

Finally found some relief for IC
Hi everyone, I’m 48 & was diagnosed with IC & Hunners ulcers after having a bladder lift in 2005 & having the mesh fall apart & get stuck in my pelvic floor wall. The mesh was of course toxic and did a number on my bladder as well. I tried EVERYTHING you could imagine & kept track of when pain would

Nerve root block?
One of the options to treat my now diagnosed spinal stenosis and sciatica is a steroid injection. Is there any contraindication being on 2 mg pred? Any experience of this injection?

electric tug down leg
Hi, I have just had another back surgery, fusing L5 to S1 and pelvis for nerve pain that is going down the back of my leg , front of knee and top of foot. It feels like someone has an electric cattle prod and running it up and down the back of my leg, it is horrendous. The op did nothing to relieve it

New to group
Good morning, I just found this group online while looking for a support group for my husband’s demyelinating syndrome. I have been through the wringer with chronic back pain due to degenerative disc disease since 1989. I try not to let my pain define me, though. My new pain specialist recommended

Burned Nerves for Spinal Stenosis..
Morning everyone, I had a temporary
nerve
block
the other day in 6 points around my spine. It seemed to work, the surgeon mentioned the next step would be to burn the nerves but this would only give 6 months - 1 year of relief. I just wondered if anybody here has had this done?

iron lab results 10 weeks post iron infusion
I have had four iron infusions in the last 2 years. 10 weeks ago I received Injectafer 1000 mg with so-so results. I had seen a hematologist at my neurologist/Sleep specialist’s urging out of his concern for my out of whack lab numbers. The hematologist was not concerned. I gave my sleep, specialist

Nerve block for wrist surgery
Just wondering if anyone has had experience of an operation under
Nerve
Block
as opposed to General Anaesthetic. I have just had a plate put in my wrist due to a fall and besides it being the worst experience of my life, my Fibromyalgia has drastically worsened.

I did get migraines before the accident.. but they were episodic… I can’t work or socialise

Diagnosis Anterior Cutaneous Nerve entrapment syndrome?
I had my ovaries removed in February 2020 via laparoscopy. I had had laparascopic diathermy and laser treatment for endometriosis in my 20s and 30s, but eventually taking the progesterone only pill meant I had no periods at all which was a massive result for me and I took them until I was 52. Unfortunately

I think I started to notice Tinnitus more after having the GON

WONDERED WHAT YOU THOUGHT
I was first diagnosed with AF in 2021 when I had an ablation. Since then I manage my situation with 50mg Flecainide twice a day and Apixaban. I found some papers today (2022) where my EP said I was doing well with maybe 3 incidents a year. I get my heart checked every year and its of sound structure.

Hey you lovely lot! It has been a while, but I keep popping in from time to time to see what is going on in the AF community. Quick update. After an unsteady (PAF diagnosis ) 2020, I made some adjustments & settled back into life with PAF popping up now & then. My Pill in Pocket flecanide works for
