Pudendal nerve block
Hi! I haven't had this done and I'm no expert but I did see something about this on Bucharest Endo centre website, I think they do it a lot there. bucharestendometriosiscente...
If it's the same procedure I think the recovery is meant to be somewhat tough (you get worse before you get better type thing) so if you do go ahead with it just be sure to do some research to make sure it's right for you. Your doctor should know a lot more than me though, I just saw some girls in a support group I'm in mention about the recovery before! xx
Hi. Did you have this done in the end? I'm considering it also. I was offered it by my pain clinic and they said many women find it helpful but it does not work for everyone so no way to know until you try, like with everything else for endo I'vee seen some videos on youtube of how it's done. It's a long needle that goes in your tummy eround the area where they think the nerves causing you pain are. You can have one or several injections under sedation or local anastetic. And yes, the pain can get worse at first. I think full effects are felt within 2-3 weeks. I'm thinking to give it a try and see if it will help with the pin then maybe I can postpone my next surgery a bit more. I've already had 3 surgeries for endo.
