Does lupron/zytiga cause peripheral neuropathy as side effect?
I have been on Lupron for a year Aberaterone and prednisone for 10 months. Quite suddenly about six or seven weeks ago I developed peripheral neuropathy In my feet and toes. Mild pain, but constant really bad, stinging in my toes and feet. I’ve read that neuropathy can be a side effect of aberaterone

experiencing stomach-ache side effects
I’ve been on Orgovyx since mid-December. Normal SE; fatigue, sweats, brain-fog, etc. May 10th I started adding Abiraterone acetate and Prednisone. The past week I’ve been experiencing stomach aches, sorta some contstipation (straining) and mild nausea. Any guesses if it’s the newer meds? The info lists

Newly diagnosed with PMR and thank you for all the info here
Hi everyone, I received a firm-ish diagnosis of PMR this morning, after a 1-week trial on prednisone that greatly reduced my symptoms. I’d say I’m about 60 to 70% better compared to a week ago, if one can really assign numbers to such things. I still have a slight burning in my arms but not painful

How do we know when we are totally free from PMR
Hi, Is it when you have finally reduced to zero prednisone and can manage all previous tasks? I know this is a daft question but, as I am down to 5mg and reducing by a quarter every 3 weeks and aware that I still get stiffness in my hands, wrist and shoulders it all seems manageable and not affecting

best hour to take pred
I’ve read somewhere it might be a good idea to take prednisone around 2am as inflammation usually sets in about 4am I have only taken for 3days but have found that when taking around 7am the symptoms do not ease for about 4/5 hours and I’m not sure that this is just the symptoms easing naturally or the

Alternating doses
I've been off & on Prednisone a few times in the past year while they tried to figure out whether I have PMR or RA. Finally decided on PMR, I was on 10 mg Prednisone for a month, then Rheumatologist put me on an alternating dose - 10 mg one day, 7.5 mg to next. From the first day of that change I haven't

Double vision episode
Just had one. First since November 2021. Then I was on high dose pred for GCA, coming down. Continued to taper quite successfully, eventually to zero in November 2022. But PMR followed, so went onto 15mg pred, tapering again quite successfully. Down to 5 mg since 6th February. Clearly no blood test

Low carb diets
On top of everything else I'm now pre-diabetic. I wasn't prior to starting the steroids but as I'm now on 2 mg of Prednisolone a day and have been on 5 mg or less for over a year I suspect that Prednisolone is not the culprit. I've been looking at a diabetic website and it says that low carb is less

Feeling rubbish again at 2.5mg prednisone
Hello, I’m hoping for advice again. I was diagnosed in March 2019 and have spent 5 years slowly tapering with a couple of flares. The last one was a few weeks ago at 2.25mg when I realised my arm and shoulder pain and tiredness was a flare. I went up to 7.5mg for a week and then resumed at 2.5mg.

Bad reaction to Prednisone?
Hello all Has any one had a very quick unpleasant reaction to taking Prednisone tablets. I have taken 10mg yesterday and 5mg today. I started feeling very woozy, lightheaded, as if I am drunk since lunchtime. I had Prednisone a few years back when I was put on about 40mg tablets, I had to come off
