Post-Circumcision
Hi, I have had my circumcision surgery on the 14th of August. Thank God it was a quick and successful recovery. Yesterday i tried masterbating for the first time but did not ejaculate, I had a little bit of pain while masterbating. Do i have to wait a little longer to masterbate again?

A tooth with a life of it's own!
Hi, all. I wrote in several months ago about a painful tooth. My dentist couldn't find anything wrong with it. He finally referred me to an endodontist, and he did a root canal. Found several issues. Would have been nice if that had been the end of it, but no! The pain would not go away, and I

so many questions
hi all, I posted about 6 weeks ago regarding my mum whoās ca125 was raised and from that they found a large growth. She had her surgery today for total abdominal hysterectomy and they removed a tumour the size of a melon. The cancer nurse specialist has already been round and confirmed it is cancerous

cateract surgery
Hello: Iām a little worried about having cateract surgery as I like most have tremor or dyskinesia. The doctor asked could I be still. Funny. Anyone experience this? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Asking for best guess info
As I've written, my husband stopped all treatment this past July after Lupron/Xtandi were causing worsening SEs while PSA was doubling/tripling from undetectable. He's now receiving palliative care and just had his first comprehensive bloodwork since the MO's on June 30. At that time his PSA registered

The good doctor
I had a GP appointment this morning (double appointment) for a Medication Review. I havenāt had one since pre-Covid when I lived in a different part of the country. I crept into the surgery with fear in my heart as I prepared to explain the ins and outs of NDT. OH came with me as I was in the middle

Correctly written prescription...do they exist? š«¤
My pharmacist requested that I get my prescription altered to state Vencamil now that Aristo has been dropped by Alliance to stave of future confusion ( it currently mentions both)... I did say that I had tried in the past to get it named but they say that they can't... So I spoke with the Surgery and

Rp on july of 22 for gleason 3+4 with psa of 16. PT3b, pN1 with negative margins and 2 of 11 lymph nodes involved. I took a nomogram online and came out 75% likely for recurrence. My first psa post op was .02, then .03, .04, .04, .05 in late august- so I've crossed line #1. Which is a bummer but not

Feeling deflated
I had my follow up with the consultant today, after having my ultrasound in August. He said that my uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries look healthy, and that if there is endometriosis then it is āsuperficialā. He said that surgery isnāt necessary because of this. He wants me to come off the implant

Low BMI and surgery
Hi, has anyone been refused surgery due to a low BMI? I know my bmi is only around 14 which is very low but I am at this weight due to my bowel issues and the constant pain I am in. My surgeon knows my weight and just warned me of the added risks but is happy to go ahead. I have had many surgeries

T4 low, TSH rising, T3 fluctuates
I posted a few weeks ago about my ongoing battle with thyroid symptoms (hypothyroidism) and B12 and trying to get my GP to move forward with it all. My latest (private) test results are attached. Taken at 8.30am, just water, stopped biotin a week before. My T4 is low (and dropped below range last

Waiting for CABG
I am a 63 year old female waiting for CABG x 2. Have been following posts for a few weeks now but have never been brave enough to introduce myself. I had a heart attack in 2018 followed by one stent. Family history of heart attacks. Attended cardiac rehab and have continued to follow advice to the letter

hi ,I had a mechanical aortic valve replacement and a anrysyum repair a few years ago . I've been on 5 mg bisoprolol since surgery. I seemed to have asthma after surgery certainly didn't have it before. There were doctors arguing as to whether I had it or not at hospital after my op anyway several
