Nasal surgery

As you know I had the nasal surgery in February which went well but I haemorrhaged afterwards. While I was in hospital my left leg became quite rigid and quickly became painful.

I am struggling to weight bare, bend or stretch my left leg since my nasal surgery and the severity of the pain is stopping me sleeping and I am having to literally drag my leg. I self referred to the Musculsr Skeletal Team and they refused to touch me in case I had a blood clot.

I was on Synarel nasal spray ang Menopur 600IU, the maximum dose. I also got my full period about 1 week before egg collection to which the doctor said, your uterine line was shedding as it was weak. So we'll freeze the embryos & not do fresh transfer.

It looks like the synarel nasal spray didn't work. Anyone else had similar situation ever?

Later in the morning I take prescribed Fluticasone nasal spray for a long term Sinus problem. Lunchtime I take Adcal D3 and Atorvastatin 20mg then a 2nd Adcal D3 with evening dinner.

It is not oral thrush - and I am currently prescribed Fluticasone nasal drops but now after 8 days they have made no difference. Has anyone else suffered with a change in the taste of food after a HA?

.I waited approx. 18 months for this surgery. He was a general gynaecologist, not an endo specialist. The surgery was delayed by 4+ hours and then subsequently didn't last very long.

I hate the thought of surgery delayed. Anyone any thoughts on Hosputal outcome.

About six weeks before the ICSI round I had surgery to remove an 11cm dermoid cyst and just before I started stims I also got COVID... although I was assured this wouldn't impact the cycle! Could all of this just been a recipe for disaster?

I had prostate surgery in November. That went OK but my bladder doesn't work or contract to pump the urine out normally. Therefore, I have to use a catheter. The reason I had the surgery was I had 3000 cc of urine in my bladder. Has anyone had this issue and was it resolved?

Had surgery on monday. Didn't have too much pain, although I'm taking nurofen everyday which is probably helping. Still a bit reluctant at touching the area too much only when in the shower i use the shower head to gentle go over it, and when i dry it gentle pat with towel seems to work.

My surgery have very mixed views on self-testing but my research seems to suggest it produces better and more consistent INR control. I would be very interested in hearing the experiences of those on the forum who do self-test.

During surgery, biopsies revealed Richter's Transformation, which was later shown to be pseudo-Richter's, but they gave me R-CHOP anyway. When I finished chemotherapy, I began radiation therapy for breast cancer with hormone therapy.

Got a stimker of a cold. so this was easiest option Good news from my Nuclear Scan, although like being in a battle - the bruises are worth it.got a call today from surgery, Scan showed no cancer cells had infected my chest bones.

I have stage IV mitral valve disease, and surgery is impossible. While they were doing the tests for my heart failure, I started needing blood because I was constantly anemic. I needed blood every two weeks. They did a biopsy and found myelodysplasia. This was in early 2024.

I'm interested if anyone has been in a similar position, had the surgery and had a good outcome or put the surgery off and regretted it. I think with such a low TSH there is a risk of becoming overtly hpyerthyroid again but currently everything is fine.

I was put on oral iodine for around 5wks before surgery could be performed , as my surgeon refused to go in while my thyroid was toxic...my T4 was 100, my T3 was 39.6 and my TSH was undetectable.

Hi everyone ❤️ Well I've finally received my thyroid blood results, I started this blood work journey on Feb 6th 2025😲 after 2 doctors in my surgery failed to fill in the correct information about booking me in for these bloods, so the receptionist could book a date for me.

After another ECG at my surgery and subsequent discussion with him, he decided to refer me to the cardiology Dep at the hospital I visited when I went to A&E. He also said that there was no block but there may be an electrical issue, and "possible ablation" was mentioned in his notes to them.

Hi, I am now 5 days post surgery and all seems to be going well. I am just wondering about how people are bathing/cleaning the wound. As I am taking daily showers but being very careful and not physically touching the area I am just letting the water drip around.
