I'm disabled, too sick to work, severe peripheral neuropathy, severe fatigue,
muscle
stiffness,
pain
etc. I have Hashimoto's, 100mcg thyroxine, everything else 'normal' (except low folate, deficient vit D, and very high cortisol - GP says he's not bothered by it) .

Back pain after ICD fitted.
I've now got an awful pulled
muscle
type
pain
on my right hand side - If I stretch my arm forward, it really hurts in my muscle, just under my shoulder blade, on the side, it feels like a pulled muscle.

Apologies for not wording this properly, but as I progress with less
muscle
stiffness, and no real
pain
, cannot identify with the readers who mention it. Since being diagnosed with the above, I do still have slight "balance" issues and asking if that is result of PMR or GCA?

Early morning discomfort in chest
It feels more like
muscle
pain
but it's enough to stop me from sleeping. Perhaps I'm being over sensitive but I wonder if my adrenals are starting to kick in. From what I've read I'm on too high a dose for this to happen, but thought I'd ask the question.

Day 12th after cut. Improvment
Today is my first night that I slept well, my mood is over the moon now ;) . Had lots of erections but they were pretty mild with pain. I stopped taking pain killers on day 8th as kinda didn't wanted to trash my liver. I hope that from now on each day will be just improvment without any complication

Wife's hip replacement
Wifey needs a new hip, something that at different ages, the recovery can be different, on other people. She's having it done privately, and info so far suggests in and out-same day. Would this be right. She will be sore after, so presume she'll be dosed up with painkillers. So, when does the pain

Hi First post on here and Not really sure where to start! So I suppose hello 👋! So my story……back in May 2020 I woke with a massive headache one that you know is not normal and one I had never suffered from before! I took pain killers and nothing touched the sides of it. As we were on the middle

Life with fractures, help in the UK
I am in the UK and, at the moment, I am overwhelmed with pain from what I believe is another fracture. I started fracturing 6 years ago and dont feel that I am under anyone in particular who can help with day to day living etc. So far we have spent out on a chairlift (£5000) and an adjustable bed

Sore Throat
I have a sore throat right at the base of my throat where my thyroid is. It’s particularly sore in the night. Could it be my thyroid or just a random sore throat? My tonsils and throat area are slightly red, but nothing major. My current dose is T4 100mcg and T3 18.75. What can I do about it? Painkillers

Abdominal and back pain??
IF this is not metastasis then I could only guess its
muscle
pain
, he is under Zoladex injections every three months, could there be a relation? Our Urologist doesnt see any connection with Zoladex though.

Circumscision Super painful
hello I am 18 and had Circumscision 2 days ago it is so painful I’m on strong painkillers but I can’t have anything touch it and I’m still yet to have a shower as it’s unbearable. There’s lots of dry blood and I’m supposed to apply an antibiotic ointment but I just can’t bring myself to apply as it’s

Treat Your Body Pain more Effectively
Pain
O Soma 500mg (carisoprodol) is often used as a
muscle
relaxant. The drug works by preventing painful sensations from being transmitted between the brain and the nerves. Pain relievers like Soma 500mg are needed, as well as rest and physical rejuvenation.
