Rib pain post-sternotomy
At first I thought back
pain
was was
muscle
pain
as I have a sedentary job. Exercises and a new chair no help. Went to an osteopath when I found a significant lump on rib, second lowest rib on right, smaller lump on lowest rib. He has referred me to orthopaedic surgeon.

Lupron and general muscle/bone pain?
Hi all, I don't know if Lupron (first injection about 2.5wks ago) is starting to kick my ass a little or if something else is going on but the last couple days had lots pain kind of in between shoulder blades and tbh lots of other places too. Laying in bed actually hurts the hips, butt etc... Anyone

Post Op abdominal pain
I am only 3 months post oesophagectomy and so appreciate it is still very early days into recovery. However, each morning between 0300 and 0600hr, I wake up with a nagging pain in the lower abdomen just below and to the left of the stomach incision. The pain eases when I get out of bed and move about

Edit: Added the elevation profile from said marathon. Its making my knee twinge just looking at it.
Back in the olden days (2022), I ran the Giant's Head Marathon, and my knee hasn't spoken to me since. It was a brutal course with around 1000m elevation gain that took you across an array

I’m looking for a bit of advice really. I’ve had 5 surgeries for endo (my history is recurrent stage 4 endo, left ovary stuck to rectum, bladder nodules and endometriomas etc debilitating pain throughout the month - to be very brief!). After my first child my pain resumed with my periods. I had my

Well it’s 3:30 am here in Georgia USA and have been awake since about 2:30 but I went to sleep around 9:00 so that’s good for me. The ropinorole is still working thank God. Just wanted to update how things are going. I go Wednesday to see dr. Cooper but honestly I’m not very hopeful. I feel like he will

Happy and healthy New Year everyone. I am down to 1mg of pred and have developed, what my osteopath says, is bursitis . Also arthritis has flared up in my feet. I saw a nurse practitioner who said take painkillers to manage it and that because of the reduction in steroids this has all flared up and

extremely intense pain due to stage 4 Endrometriosis
Hi, An ambulance has just left our house. Today is the first day of my period and I had to call 999 due to extreme pain that I never experienced before. They gave me strong pain killers and I feel better but I’m still in shock of the intensity of the pain I experienced today! My whole body was in agony

Update - Not Polymyalgia?
Update - First had Polymyalgia 2018 tapered off successfully 2020 CRP10 ESR 26. Diagnosed again July 2023 CRP4 ESR 26. Symptoms completely different (all neck, shoulders, arms) Put back on 20mg steroids. I wasn’t convinced on 2nd diagnosis so GP agreed I should taper off. Began taper, had blood tests

Painful knee
Hi, I've recently joined this forum. I started doing the couch to 5k in November. Finding it quite hard as rather out of condition but I persevered. I'm on week 5 now, though I have missed a few runs due to Christmas and New year. I've also for that reason stuck to run 1 for the last few times. However

Hi! I just joined. CIDP: Is anyone like me?
What I do have is longstanding, progressive, bilateral - and now debilitating -
muscle
pain
, stiffness and weakness that responds well to prednisolone. The more prednisolone I take, the better I feel, and the more activity I can do.
