Hi all, I don't know if Lupron (first injection about 2.5wks ago) is starting to kick my ass a little or if something else is going on but the last couple days had lots pain kind of in between shoulder blades and tbh lots of other places too.
Laying in bed actually hurts the hips, butt etc...
Anyone had this same experience and any advice on how to cope?

My oncologist started me on Firmagon in July. It has the advantage over Lupron, in that it drops PSA straight away, unlike Lupron. Other than the expected nite sweats, I’ve been able to tolerate it pretty well. My MD has also started me on Xtandi 160 mg daily ( doublet therapy) , as both drugs block testosterone. I’m to begin salvage radiation in Oct. Maybe you can inquire about Firmagon in place of Lupron. Hope this helps you. God speed.
Zinger, I went through a real adjustment period when I first started Lupron. In the begining I would have chills and hot flashes, body aches and almost disabling fatigue. I was already walking daily, but I upped the mileage, and after I started feeling better added in light weight training. I found that with the exercise the SE's moderated and I began to feel pretty good.
The other side of the coin now................ I've had Lupron injections for years and never had any of the symptom's other members have experienced............Toss of the dice..........
