Please Help!!! Mirena, Endo, Post-Lap, desperate now!
Only thing offered now is the
Mirena
coil or the pill. I am due to have coil fitted in 3 weeks time. Terrified re side effects and pain of the insertion but I am desperate and willing to try anything now. I am on the endo diet in a hope that may help my symptoms too.

Frustrated with Gynaecologist
I saw for the first time a Gynaecologist after suffering killer cramps and flooding for over six years. They did find small fibroids during a scan and my gp (who was previously a Gynaecologist) thought I could possibly have endometriosis for the amount of pain I was suffering so I was referred. The Gynaecologist

Failed mirena insertion
Hi all, Well I went to my appointment to have my
mirena
fitted after trying the mini pill to control endo symptoms and it failed as I kept bleeding and felt down. Well my GP tried 3 times and eventually gave up. She said my pelvis was tilted and it was too difficult.

Laparoscopy help and advice-very scared!
Has anyone had the
mirena
coil and experienced any negative side effects? I've read that it can cause acne, down moods and headaches. I've battled with acne for thirteen years and it's only just started to go away, I don't want to go on something that will bring it back! 4.

Laparoscopy or no?
He said the only treatments available to me are contraceptives (pill,
mirena
, injection) but I've already tried all these and they haven't made a difference...things have actually been worse since I've had the
mirena
.

Mirena coil?
I was told that I would have a hysteroscopy (I have fibroids) and that i would be fitted with a
mirena
coil to reduce the bleeding. I was presented with this as a fait accompli with no discussion or offering of any alternatives.

Treatment advice
Surgeon decided to leave what was there there and inserted a
Mirena
. Since then I've had intense pain and non stop bleeding for 6 months. Have tried supplementing with oral hormones and have used the pill before with no help. What do people recommend for treatment?

Endo, IBS and vulvodynia = No energy... has anyone tried hypnotherapy or other therapies??
During the same operation I had a
Mirena
coil fitted, and am now on my second one. This has really helped as I no longer have proper periods and previously my periods were so heavy I used to pass big blood clots, some months the pain was actually worse than my experiences of child birth.

Relentless heavy bleeding and options
i think this is my preferred option as i'm a keen swimmer and this will help me to lose some weight/retain good mental health. 3/
Mirena
coil (heard horror stories about moods, pain etc) or ablation - not keen on this as we would like a family. 4/ refer to the fertility clinic - but what can they

Endo advice. 20day periods after operations change pill or have another operation?
, secondly to remove the endometriosis, thirdly to remove a
mirena
coil that was making me bleed just from walking as it was misplaced. Last year I didn't stop bleeding for over 20 days on a few occasions.
