Well I went to my appointment to have my mirena fitted after trying the mini pill to control endo symptoms and it failed as I kept bleeding and felt down.
Well my GP tried 3 times and eventually gave up. She said my pelvis was tilted and it was too difficult.
Now I have to be referred to have it inserted by a gyne under local anaesthetic.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm fed up now of all this.
Cheers x

Yes, I had my first two inserted under GA. For me that was fine as I don't find the anaesthetic a problem. I've also had one put in without and it was very unpleasant!
Hi I've ever never had it done under general. I had my 1st mirena coil fitted on 16th may this year, it wasn't the most comfortable thing, I'd much rather give birth. But I think that's because I had watched you tube videos and worked myself up.
