Mirena and nausea
Anyway i had a
Mirena
placed almost a week ago after a hysteroscopy. Decided on this option as i have menorraghia. Over the last couple of days i have had really chronic nausea and have even been sick a couple of times.

Not Again :(
Insane sugar cravings, bleeding as normal even with the
Mirena
, foul moods, low moods, pain. I don't think the
Mirena
caused the moods. The last week wasn't great, but since yesterday I've been in bed, simply unable to move with pain.

Does this sound like Endometriosis or something else?
Mirena
made my periods painful and I bled for months and months. Please share your thoughts. This doesn't really fit with endo does it? The pain started suddenly at a very stressful time in my life.

Contraceptive pill nolonger helping pain!
My gynae has strongly recommended the
Mirena
coil as pills don't seem to work long term. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this on the pill, ie having some improvement in regards to pain but it gradually wearing off over time? Any insight would be really helpful! xx

Surgery a success or Not?
I also had the
mirena
coil fitted at the same time. For the last 11 weeks apart from 3 weeks recovery I have been pain free and I have also had no period since. I was feeling so positive but that was ruined yesterday.

3 weeks post lap - cramps like contractions
I also had a
mirena
coil fitted but am continuing to take the pill (as advised by doc) to keep periods away. My general pain level is now like a bad period pain, but I'm kind of used to that with the endo. I am hoping that his will just get better each day.

Mirena + mini pill
Hi all For years the
Mirena
worked for me, but now I've started the menopause the pain has returned with vengeance. I think this is because my natural progesterone level has declined already. My GP is suggesting the mini pill on top of the
Mirena
. Has anyone tried this?

Positive Mirena insertion experience
I'm writing this post because I find that people only post about their negative
mirena
insertion experiences. I just had mine fitted today and I just wanted to say it was much better than I expected. I know every woman is different and has different experiences.

Mirena coil...
Hello ladies, I have had the coil fitted last Tuesday, after three attempts of trying (took over ten minutes!). Had lots of nerve pain during the fitting, and was very faint/nauseous afterwards. My worry now is that the pain is worse after I have a wee. So every time I go to toilet the pain rears up

Lap showed no endo, but retroverted uterus was found, can anyone tell me more about it?
I've had a
mirena
fitted which they said should help over the next few months once settled, and if no improvement then I can have ventrosuspension to stitch up/move the womb to the correct place. Any comments would be really interesting and helpful! Thanks guys xx

Post Lap pain and emotions
They used a diathermy to treat everything and fitted a
mirena
coil. Now I just feel so sore inside. It is like chronic burning pain and when I stand it feels like it's is all pulling downwards. I also hurt to pee and my bladder feels really sensitive.
