Undiagnosed pelvic pain ?
I have the
mirena
coil in so don't have periods and was worried my symptoms could be ectopic but I have had a pgt done and it was negative. Yesterday I lost alot of really thick mucus similar to the mucus plug you lose during pregnancy but no sign of any blood in it.

Should I request to have laparoscopy?
After this she suggested
Mirena
coil but said she would put it in under general anaesthetic as I am not sexually active and it would be very painful otherwise. She did a d&c and a hysteroscopy before she inserted the coil and said everything was okay.

1st period post lap
I had a lap on 8th August (they didn’t find anything which is good and bad I guess) and inserted
Mirena
at the same time. I *think* I am now on my period, that’s certainly what it feels like. I am on what is probably day 2 or 3 and my pain is not letting up!

Bleeding/clots after coil removal for Endo
I have Endometriosis and had a
mirena
coil inserted during laproscopy as could not tolerate whilst awake/in clinic due to pain. I felt this did not help or change my Endo symptoms and was advised to have this removed by my Gynae consultant.

Endometriosis treatment
I’ve had three laporospys and had a
Mirena
coil fitted two years ago. Recently I have started to get the symptoms back again and wondered what the best treatment is for this.

Anyone used the Jaydess coil?
Was on
Mirena
coil a few years ago - never had a period even once so from an endo point of view it's a dream. Now I'm looking at a coil again to control the endo symptoms I'm having as the pill isn't cutting it.

Urinary incontinece On Prostap
I was bleeding for nearly 6 months and I had the
mirena
coil fitted. It was my first ever coil as I’m 48. I suffered with horrendous periods my entire life, I’ve had endometriosis on and off since my early 20’s.

Is there a link between having Mirena Coil fitted and a flair up of Hashimotos?
Recently had coil fitted, 6 months after baby number 3. Feeling exhausted and very very forgettful. Just tested bloods and T3 is low at 3.2 and antibodies high at 488. Told by doc that the coil takes time to settle in your system but it took almost 4 weeks of a fairly light bleed before it did, It seems

Mirena coil
Hello ladies I had my coil fitted 22nd of June and I don’t think there’s been a day with there hasn’t been some blood, is this normal? I’m not heavy and i don’t feel unwell in myself just wondering if it will settle anytime soon? Tampons are expensive 😩

Endometriosis!
Hi, I’m 21 and just recently had my first laparoscopy and diagnosed with endometriosis. I’m struggling to understand it fully and maybe see what treatments help is there for me. I got the marina coil put in last week too so fingers crossed it helps with symptoms! My main concern is working every day

Doctors refuse to help me - any advice?
I had a
Mirena
Coil fitted in May and this has made everything so much worse. I've never bled or had pain like it since being fitted and considering I 'probably' have Endo, that's saying something. Does anyone know if this is normal and it will go away?

Has anyone found a progesterone only pill that works for them?
Hi everyone, I’ve never got on well with hormones.....combined causes migraines, pills made my existing anxiety worse and the
Mirena
made my moods terrible. I’ve already had excision surgery but 2 years after and it’s defo taken over again.

Jaydess
This is smaller than the
Mirena
and releases less hormones but there is very little info on jaydess and endo. I am coming up to a month on jaydess and I am very very happy so far! I could not tolerate the pain from the
Mirena
at all and in the past progesterone has given me horrible side effects.

Can someone please shed some light! Please!
I have endometriosis, and the
mirena
coil fitted. I am 21 years old. I went to the loo earlier for a pee, and some tissue paper got caught in the strings of the
mirena
(strings are too long, GP is aware). However, I tried to detangle the tissue paper but accidentally pulled on my strings.
