Anyone had bad experience with copper coil. I had the mirena in for 4 and half years until it fell out yesterday during sex. I rushed to clinic to get emergency after care treatment i had a copper coil fitted. I widh i had of read up before i got it. Because i heard they givr bad periods for 6 months after. And potentially die down after. It hurt worse going in this time then last but i put that down to having my mirena in not long after my son was born and was probs still tender, soft , whatever after. Ive started bleeding bad. My only problem now is that imnworrying myself sick reading post about bleeding threww tampons and towels. I go to ibiza in exactly 3 weeks time and thats the last thing i need with bikinis flying out my suitcase left right and center. Xx
