Right hand side, groin, ovary leg pain.
I had a laparoscopy and other procedures done along with having a
mirena
coil inserted in early January. It’s was for stage four endometriosis and they were lucky to get it all done in one surgery they said. It was my second surgery in five years for endometriosis. I feel like I’m ok with pain.

Mirena
Hope you’re having a relatively pain free day ❤️ I had a
mirena
coil fitted approx 7 weeks ago - does anyone know how long until it starts working? I have been bleeding for 15 days and my cramps are progressively getting worse 😖

Has anyone experienced increased anxiety with Mirena coil?
Hi all, as the title says really. My emotions are all over the place. One minute ok, then very low and anxiety sky high. Hard to know if this is caused by my treatment being put on hold because of coronavirus or if it's hormonal with coil 🤔 I recently posted about passing some large clumps of grey bloody

Mirena
does not work for me quite well and in addition I was prescribed Orilissa. I read reviews for that drug and now not sure if I want to take it.

Pain relief
The GP has recommend that I get the
mirena
coil. What are people's experiences with this? Also what pain relief do you take on a daily basis (if necessary). Thanks as always guys :) xx

Pain after mirena
I got the
mirena
inserted in late Septemeber and I've been getting on and off pain, sometimes I'm curled up in agony, trying to hold back tears. It's not match and I've had too check ups so far and they said everything is normal. Has anyone else had this, and how long did it take to calm down?

I’m in more pain since being diagnosed and getting the coil fitted! Has anyone else had this or is it in my head!?
I guess I’m wondering if anyone else has experience worse pain with
Mirena
coil. I’d say my period pain hasn’t been this bad in years but it was definitely this bad when I first started. Any advice?

Apologies if too much info 🤦
I had the
mirena
coil fitted on 20th January after being recommended by gynaecology for heavy bleeding. The first couple of weeks I had bleeding and cramping, then all seemed to settle.

Mirena
I've had mine fitted this afternoon and my god I'm in agony! This is dreadful! The GP has made me bleed and I mean a lot, they had to give me gauze and tissues to clean it up and pads to get me home without bleeding through my jeans. Please tell me this wears off because its awful! 😭

After laparoscopy support
She also inserted the
mirena
coil which I had previously agreed on should she find any endo during surgery. It was a very quick brief and off she went to her next patient.

*New Here* Mirena Coil and Acne!
Hi all, I’ve had the
mirena
coil for about 11 months now. My Gynaecologist suggested it to decrease my endometriosis symptoms. I love the coil, I have barely any pain, hardly any periods and since I work in musical theatre it means I can live my life!

Pain after an examination, will the coil be even worse??
Hey everyone, Recently had an appointment with the OBGYN and the examination caused me 24 hours of abdo pain, but she suggested the
mirena
coil. I’m so so scared that this will cause me even more pain? Anyone got any thoughts or advice on what to do? Cheers

Pain and heavier periods 3 months after excision of DIE
I feel like this is half my fault as he offered me the
mirena
coil and prostap and I refused both as I don’t tolerate well with hormones. He said nothing more I can do for you and referred me back to my GP. (This was all under private healthcare).

Lap didn’t show endo
At the time they fitted me with the
mirena
coil. This hasn’t helped, I’m still have horrendous pain and I have tried every other contraception out there. I have had painful periods and everything that comes with it since I first started them at 11, I am now 23.

Confusing Blood Test Results
I've had a
Mirena
coil for the last 5 years with no periods during this time. It was removed a few weeks ago and having another coil in a few weeks time. It's possible that I could be in the menopause but I'm 43 years so still a bit young.

Anyone experienced crippling pain with insertion of the Mirena Coil?? I'm after recommendations as I'm so scared with upcoming appointment!
I need my
Mirena
coil re-inserted as it was embedded in my muscle & not the cervix last time around. Both when inserting & taking out, the pain I experienced was unbelievable & I'm so scared having to go through the process again...

Mirena -endo nurse?
well thing I’m worried about is if my endo gets worse Whilst waiting for surgery.I can manage it most days without pain killers but leading up to period on period and just after it’s painful .i was thinking of having an endo nurse put the
Mirena
in but I’m not currently under the care of anyone waiting

Sex with IUD
However I’ve been told that I can’t be on the injection for a long period and the next step is the
Mirena
coil Has anyone else had success with postap and the switches to
Mirena
? I am also worried about how long it will take to settle and whether it helps with pain during sex?

Endometriosis severe pain 18 months after 4th excision surgery and mirena
I had
mirena
coil inserted during surgery. I’d had previous excision surgery but it had still returned. I had a chemical menopause prior to my last surgery too. The
mirena
has stopped my periods which is great as I no longer get the horrendous contraction type pain I used to get.

Mirena coil with microgynon pill at same time?
Is it okay to take the microgynon pill whilst being on the
mirena
coil if you keep having bleeds? I'm from the UK but am in Spain till April. The GP prescribed me the pill incase I continued to have bad Endo pains/bleeds despite being on the
mirena
.
