Hi, has anyone been through something similar?
So it has now been 3 attempts to remove my coil. Today they tried as a hysteroscopy with local anaesthetic, 20 mins in and in so much pain they gave up. When they had one last look with the camera they noticed the coil and flipped upside down, strings wrapped around it and one of the ends have embedded into the uterus. I am now having to wait for it to be removed by general anaesthetic.
Just want reassurance that there hasn’t been any long last damage or any impact on trying for a baby.
