I am wondering if this is the Mirena? My consultant said this is not common with the Mirena. My regular GP said the same but other than this developing around about the time I had the Pfizer vaccine, I am a lost to explain this new problem. Has anyone else had leg pain/numbness with the coil?

So had a mirina coil fitted and after 3 month iv come on again, the doctors looks they can't see the coil up there, anyone else had this happen, going for a scan Thursday to see if they can see it ,

I’ve had mirena fitted to help adeno hopefully if not got a check up in 4 months for talks of hysterectomy

Hi I’m getting my Mirena coil replaced today as it’s been over 5 years since my first one. It’s been like night and day for me on the coil, no periods, minimal pain, even found it easier to keep weight off.

My follow up consultation is in a few weeks which will include discussion of the mirena coil.

I’m also considering going on the mirena coil for the endo and hear this might help? I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice about what I should do about these extreme feelings before my period which sounds very much like PMDD.

Have had two laps and recently got the mirena fitted. What do you find helps relieve it. Thank-you

While awaiting mirena coil I asked to be put on the mini pill as heard it could help. I started taking this in late March this year, For the last few months I am not exaggerating when I say my pain has pretty much stopped, as well as my periods.

I had the Mirena coil fitted just two days ago and I am still in absolute agony. I’ve had to phone in sick at work today. Has anyone else had this and if so when did the pain ease off? I have read that you shouldn’t have any pain effecting your daily activities.

The pain always returned after any treatment and the only thing that worked for me was the Mirena coil. I would have 12-15 months symptom free with the coil. Anyway, I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago (everything apart from one ovary was removed).

Already have Mirena coil and taking 1mg of Estradiol HRT. Is there any conflict between taking HRT and Levothyroxine. Appreciate knowing if they're compatible or not. GP has suggested not but meno(?), HRT and Thyroid and lots of meds ???

I had my mirena coil removed for the surgery at the surgeons request and now my bladder seems to be really flaring up as a result. Thanks

I had a procedure on Saturday to remove a fibroid and to remove my Mirena coil. After the procedure the nurse advised that the marina coil wasn’t there. Yesterday I received a letter to say that I’d been discharged from the gynaecologist.

Hey guys, about 6 months ago I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had a lap and got the mirena coil to reduce symptoms. Since then (I think), I have noticed I've been getting some quite intense migraines occasionally. Are these all linked?

Hi, has anyone been through something similar? So it has now been 3 attempts to remove my coil. Today they tried as a hysteroscopy with local anaesthetic, 20 mins in and in so much pain they gave up. When they had one last look with the camera they noticed the coil and flipped upside down, strings wrapped

I’ve been on the Mirena Coil for a long time now and it was the best thing that I ever did.

I had two three month courses of zoladex two years ago with mirena in situ and didn't have any bleeds. My mirena at the time stopped my periods completely. They changed my mirena Feb 2020 during my most recent lap and I have had 2+ week bleeding every month and lots of associated symptoms.
