Mirena Coil Scratching?
Just wondering is anyone else has had this? I am 19, had my second laparoscopy 6 weeks ago where they found very severe endo pretty much everywhere apart from my womb. I also had a mirena coil inserted during the surgery to control my endo afterwards (as I dont agree with the pills/injections). Since

Mirena IUS
Morning ladies just a quick question has anyone tried the mirena after having a laparoscopy. I've been looking into this as I do plan on having children in the future and don't want to wait up to a year for my fertility to return which is what can happen if I get the injection. Apparently the mirena

New Granddaughter made things better.
After having my gynae admission delayed due to shingles and D and V, I finally went in. Had fibroids and polyps removed and a mirena coil put in. Apart from doing my usual fainting everything went fine. The idea was to reduce bleeding during the menopause, to help with anaemia. Since then I have been

Survival tips on hormone withdrawal please...
Hello advice greatly appreciated... I've ended up going cold turkey on both a Mirena coil after 5 months (due to pelvic physical discomfort) and zoladex/tibilone ( only survived 2 months as the effects were so horrid). I had a kind of hormone crash lunchtime got the shakes and have started to bleed

Mirena coil and migraines
Hi, I had the mirena coil fitted 7 weeks ago (during surgery) and have had 5 migraines since. I would normally get a migraine every 2 months or so. I mentioned it to nurse at family planning who said it should settle within 6 months! 6 months and I'll be cutting my head off! Any one else had migraines

Mirena warning
I had my Mirena removed on 20th Apr due to intolerable side effects. Now having the heaviest bleeding I have ever had in my life (and I'm used to heavy periods). It's awful and if it continues like this I doubt I'll be able to go to work tomorrow due to the flooding. 😔

Need advice
I have recently had lap in Feb this year to remove endo. The last couple of weeks the pain is back and really intense with some bleeding. I'm really disappointed as I was thinking about full hysterectomy but decided not to as I wanted another baby. The pain is back now and I don't no what to do anymore

Mirena Coil taken out..
I had my coil taken out two days ago as it was sat on the bottom of my cervix and since then I've had heavy bleeding, pains across my stomach and my legs feel like a ton of bricks. Is this normal after having the coil? Its my first time with the coil so I'm not sure.

Esmya
Hi, little update. I have had my initial gynae appointment now and because of the fibroids, he wants me to try Esmya. I had the mirena coil fitted in October and it hasn't helped any with the pain or the bleeding. So this is the next step to investigate/eliminate what is causing the pain. My GP thinks

(New symptoms) Does this mean my endometriosis has come back??
I had laproscopy to have my endo removed last year. I have been getting bad pelvic pain everyday since recovery. Along with painful intercourse and bleeding all the time still. (So everything i had before surgery but slightly less painful because the mirena and hormones help) I have tried nerve pain

Appointment Advice please (Manchester)
So here's my story in brief: I'm 34 and had painful heavy periods for over 15 years, the last 5 years I've suffered with large clots during periods which meant I couldn't leave the house for a couple of days during my period as leakage was a big problem - as well as the pain. Saw my GP and she gave

Stinging sensation inside vagina
Does anyone else experience a stinging sensation inside their vagina randomly? It only lasts a few seconds but it just happens randomly or occasionally when I pee. I thought it could be the mirena coil threads at an awkward angle as I wasn't sure how long they have to be but my partner has never mentioned

Mirena Coil...terrified!!!!
Hey ladies, I am booked in on Monday to get the mirena coil fitted, I'm absolutely terrified I've read so many horror stories online & from family members who have tried it and their body has rejected it. I'm only 21 and haven't had a baby so I'm so scared of the pain of insertion because my cervix has

Consultant recommendation
Hello, I am new on here and new to a potential endo diagnosis. I live in south/central London and would love a recommendation for a gynaecologist who you know to be sympathetic and good with endo. Severe back pain led to a discovery of a polyp and endometrial cyst on a scan. They have no idea how severe
