PCOS vs Hashimostos
Hi. I've just had the results from my Medichecks "Ultimate Performance" test and I am really very concerned. I took the blood test first thing in the morning after fasting and avoided levothyroxine for 24hrs. The excellent accompanying letter (from a female GP) strongly indicates PCOS which seems

Prostap for Endometriosis?
Hi everyone, I’d like to know if you’ve had experience where you’ve been put on Prostap for suspected endometriosis/ fibroids and NOT had improvement from it, and subsequently had laproscopy where endometriosis HAS been found? I’ve been on Prostap (with Tibolone HRT) for 6 months but with limited improvement

natural cycles for endometriosis
hi everyone. I’ve recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and was put on the pill after the Mirena coil wasn’t working for me. Post lap update.
I had my laparoscopic bilateral ovarian cyst removal plus endometrial ablation and mirena fitting 😅 on the 18th April. Today is the 22nd May and no sign of a period. I came on the 16th last month. I had some pms and a tiny amount of pink in my pants on the 17th but since then nothing... I think that

Mirena, cramps and spotting
Hi, I am 10 weeks post excision by lap and Mirena insertion. I have only had 2 weeks not bleeding in the 10 weeks and have daily cramping which radiates down my legs. The pain isn't constant, it comes and goes during the day. Could this still be the coil settling? Not sure how long I can take the daily

Pain return and spotting
Hi I was first diagnosed with endometriosis 9 years ago to which I had laparoscopy and then the Mirena fitted. hi all!! Not been on for a while but am glad to see this is still going strong. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2015, I tried everything and eventually settled with the marina coil which improved my symptoms drastically. In 2018 I had the coil removed to try for a baby and was lucky enough to

Worried about persistent HPV
Hello, My cervical smears HPV positive result for 5 years. Last year I had low grade cell changes so I was sent for a colposcopy. The consultant did his best to reassure me, took a biopsy and treated the lesion with silver nitrate. My GP was able to access the result before I'd received the letter.

Pain in legs?
Hi guys, I’ve had the Mirena coil fitted last December. And since then I’ve had a pelvic infection for a while. Then going back and forth with medication it managed to stabilise for a couple weeks. However, since February I’ve been experiencing a sharp pain on my right side- turns out I have a cyst

Mirena coil and double desogestrel. Is it too much?
hi, first time posting. Short version - I currently have the coil in and my dr has just told me to double my desogestrel. Firstly, I’m worried about the safety of this? Secondly I really don’t feel I’m coping with the hormone overload. Has anybody else had this treatment before? Is it sustainable? Will

Discharge post endometrial ablation.
I'm 20 days post endometrial ablation and mirena coil for "Carrie level" periods. Everything has been fine so far, just wondering though when the watery/ yellowish discharge ends, it's far less than it was and I'm switching to panty liners. Those of you that have had it, how long did it take to stop?

Looking for others who have had a hysterectomy with ovaries removed in their 30s - to get your experiences
Hi all, I'm looking for personal experiences of those who had a hysterectomy with ovaries removed in their 30s. Little about me and why I'm asking. I have been diagnosed with adenomyosis and endometriosis. Had a laparoscopy with removal of some endometriosis in May 22, also had the marina coil fitted
