Anyone taken N-acetyl cysteine(NAC) for endometriosis?

Just wondering if anyone has used n-acetyl cysteine for endometriosis?

If so how were your results?

I have been using it daily 700mg for about a month now and in this past month I have being bleeding lightly almost daily.

I am Using the mirena so don’t usually bleed just spotting.

I was wondering if it had to do with the NAC or if my endo’s just getting worse as I am in a lot of pain.

My last surgery was 3 years ago when the mirena was also put in.

Anyway what were your results with NAC does it cause bleeding? Thank you

Hi I’ve been taking 600mg daily for 4 months and had no adverse affects. In fact last month I finally had no spotting at all before my period which I put down to the NAC, so I’m having a positive experience I think.

I will say when I was on the implant I spotted every day and the dr said some people react to the contraceptive hormones in that way. So maybe that’s what you’re experiencing.
