🤔 What you’re experiencing could be recognised side effects. Speak to your GP, or the person who did the implantation, they may suggest an alternative.

Common side effects of Mirena may include:

Abdominal/pelvic pain

Acne

Back pain

Bleeding and spotting between periods

Bloating

Breast tenderness or pain

Changes in hair growth

Changes in mood

Depression

Heavier bleeding during the first few weeks after device insertion

Dizziness

Headache/migraine

Itching or skin rash

Loss of interest in sex

Missed periods (amenorrhea)

Nausea

Nervousness

Ovarian cysts

Vomiting

Weight gain

Wow I had no idea of these side effects and I tick so many! Has anyone had issues with thrush like itching but not actually thrush??? I’ve had my merina coil since March and I’m 50/50 having it out due to the side effects (who knew I was possibly having more than I knew!)
