Hypergastric plexus block/injection near spine

I have an appointment for a hypergastric plexus block which is an injection of steroid and anaesthetic near the spine for chronic paid.

Has anyone had this? If so what was your experience? Did it help?

Short story is that I have suffered from constant non-cyclical pelvic pain since I had emergency surgery for a large endometrioma. I have the mirena coil which stopped my periods but has done nothing for my pain. I have been taking medication to reduce neuropathic pain with mixed success but I am keen to come off these.
