Tissue chunks Mirena Coil

This is my second time around with the coil the first time I was bleeding insanely with large chunks of my uterus coming out. I needed up getting the coil removed as I developed a cyst that popped and was rushed to hospital.

Currently I had the coil inserted a 2 months ago I haven’t stopped spotting since and have been having this horrible sharp pain that leave me screaming in agony.

With the spotting I’m coming out large blood clots palm size and now big clumps of tissue is coming out - eg uterus lining is thus normal - the pain for this is excruciating it’s like I can feel the tissue squeezing out my cervix

Anyways any advice is appreciated again last the doctor checked my coil was a month ago and says it was fine

Hi. Hope you're ok?I had a similar experience. I've had my coil 9 months now and only just starting to notice a difference in bleeding. I had the same large clots and tissue for the first 3 months, then that stopped but almost constant spotting or light bleeding. I would have had it removed at the six month mark but gynae advised against it as I may notice some improvements further down the line. Ultimately if you're worried about pain or bleeding you should probably contact your gp for advice. My experience is that it does settle eventually but ,at least for me, it hasn't been the miracle I was promised. I still have pain and a 10 day bleed albeit much lighter than before. I hope you feel better soon.
