I just wondered if anyone could help with regards to contraception.
I am still waiting to be seen by a endo specialist, however as I’ve been in a lot of pain with my periods etc my gp did recommend me to go on a pill to help relieve the pain for the time being as well. I am 50/50 with it all as I have tried a few pills and none of them haven’t agreed with me, but I don’t want to be in constant pain and if I know a contraception that will be suitable for me then I would definitely take it.
What would be the best option for me try another pill or the mirena coil?

I’ve tried both methods, taking continuous combined pill did help, but I found the mirena is the one that helped slow further endo, as well as better pain relief. Changing coil 2 yearly was also recommended by my consultant.
Hi Minnie, Thank you for your reply and for your advice, I was thinking of going more for the coil route and is good to know that it is effective for pain relief and endo ❤️
