I was diagnosed with endometriosis two weeks ago. Mirena coil was fitted during the surgery and my cramps came back (no as bad as it use to be š¤š») before the mirena I was under two mini pills x days to cut completely my period and handle my pain.
I am really thinking about investing in a tens machine but I wonder if is it really worth it to invest in the ovira one or others have them same results? The price is significantly higher.
I would love to hear your experiences.
Thanks in advance x

I haven't used ovira but literally everything I read about it, says its a tens machine with a massive pink tax. All because it's marketed to those who have periods.
I used a tens machine I got off amazon for about Ā£20, it has something like 20 settings each with varying degrees of intensity. And it does help, it takes some getting used to as it is an odd sensation.
Personally I would not get an orvia because it's just like the rest of them from what I can see and read.
Thank you for your reply, I thought so but I wanted to make sure. Do you mind if I ask you which one did you get from amazon, please? I might get it straight away as I am using too much painkillers and I don't like to abuse them. Thanks x
my boyfriend got me one, I rarely use it though. Mostly during early days when the severity is not bad.
As it was mentioned earlier it is most likely not a bigger difference from Amazon ones.
You can test it and return within 3 months if not using, but I would just go ahead with the cheaper option.
I use mine roughly a day per month, maybe even a day every 2 month as Iām pretty ok dealing with a moderate pain by its own. But it doesnāt help with an extreme severe pain.
I started taking magnesium and was recently prescribed Rigevidon so I want to test them all together , hoping to reduce āon painkillersā days to 1
Hi, I use the Ova2 one which I got on Amazon for under Ā£30. It works well for me, but I have had some issues. The connector part on the cable broke on the first one but Amazon replaced the whole thing. Same thing happened on the second one but I realised you could buy a replacement cable for about Ā£6 so I did that. No more problems so far. I generally wear it all day. I found the waistband attachment didnāt stay on my waistband ( roll of fat in the way) but I made a little pocket which I pin to the front of my trousers and that works well.
I have the Breuer one that heats and tens. If you think of it as a butterfly itās the wings that are the tens and the body is the heat. Itās really helpful but I use more on my back than front which still works. Again I had a tens before and ability to move pads separately probably helpful to learn where it works best and heat wise itās not a hot water bottle but similar to deep heat patch kinda thing. I use it while working but buttons often get knocked by clothes/chair if I lean and forget so bit annoying tbh. Worth it but worth knowing itās limitations.
Thank you so much for your replies, I had ordered one from amazon finally, I will give it a try, hope that helps a little bit! Thanks for your time ā„ļø
