My coil went wandering and has been found around around my abdominal wall. The consultant that i am under referred me for a ct scan to locate it. I am currently still waiting for surgery to get it removed.
The whole process for this has taken ages to get sorted. I have been in and out of A & E with pain and issues and each time it has been dismissed till my GP got in touch with my consultant. I will never be having a coil again.
hope you have a smoother ride, and they are able to locate it quickly
Gosh you went through it ! Have they found an alternative for you. I’ve had previous issues with one. They have found my coil in my uterus I’m just waiting to here what they want to.
